Cabal needs good timing skills to perform a combo well, when i mean well it should be more than 15 times. you also need to time your fade steps, and that, for an old mmo, requires some skill.

@joelaxerz for 120, average fb's normally have :700-900 atk, a crit rate of at least 45%,crit damage around 120%,amp of 27+,and def of 600-750..pump your dex after setting your stats for your desired eqs

try this new combo and it work quite well in most situations:

Force Kick level20 (use if the target is far away) > Force Assault (level 20) > Force Slash (level 20) > Assasinate (level 9)> Force Assault (level 20) > Force Slash(Level 20) > Seal Of Damnation(level 9,FINISHER)

@seriousa12 hey can i ask a question, would switching the postion ono assassinate and SOD be a good thing? they both have the same casting time, they both have 75% down, but the benefit of using SOD is the resist or crit damage and rate earlier in the match. wouldnt that also be a good combo to make?

@jrion2 i prefer assasinate since the *yellow text* bonus..unlike SoD, assasinate's damage was very high as a starter since it is a multi-hit skill(more hits,more dps,more pain..this applies to infernal impact too,just it is too slow to use)

SoD has high attack(over a whooping +1119) and a single cast(like abyssal crystal)..this move is more suitable as a finisher than a starter...however,u can try switch on pve since you can have your own timing against monsters

@Ch4aXico0o obvoiusly berderk faellos in LS3 (Lakeside) just keep channel hopping every 30 minutes or so and make sure you buy a return stone and place it in the spot he spawns. Happy Hunting.

@Ch4aXico0o no its much harder than it sounds xD he respawns anywhere from 3mins-3 hours in one of the channels. Sometimes you can kill him and the second you leave the channel he'd come back. If you keep going channel by channel you'll eventually find him haha

@EvilDarkJackel Continued. :D Don't go thinking that Cabal doesn't require any skill though, comboing, building your own combos, using movement skills and debuffs during combos and outside them properly and such stuff do require practice. The skill element just isn't as big in Cabal as in, for example, WoW (I've never played it though, but I suspect so).

@EvilDarkJackel If you're searching for a game where skill plays a big role, Cabal isn't necessarily for you. In PVP, if either of the players has significantly better equipment than the other, they will most probably win. If you just want a game to relax playing with some friends, Cabal is definitely a great option. That's why I play it, anyway.

Sorry that's bulshit. On Cabal pvp is rly terrible, based 100% on luck, who gets more critical hits. I played Cabal more than 3 years on Cabal EU. Better fun was on war maps, where noone called you LOLWTFNOOBHAX because you used fade step :\. I miss old Cabal i gotta admit. Episode 1 FTW.

@OfficialBrew actually the force blader might have the most crit damage because at lvl 160 they can use lightning blade, ice blade, and fire blade which all add crit rate and damage total: +35 crit rate and +15 crit damage

with the speed i dont exactly see how u would measure that (are u talking about casting time because technically mage and FA have the fastest casting time)

BTW speed does matter that much if u dont have damage (in my opinion force shielder is best)

I don't want to sound rude or anything but honestly, what's so interesting about this game? I just quit wow and I'm looking for a new game to play. Someone recommender cabal and I thought I should check it out. Looks like you're using your skills while standing still, not much skill required there... Once you get passed the fancy animations and stuff, the game is really, really poor when it comes to gameplay. Just my 2 cents on it...

@Leodorin93 Keep in mind this was made over 2 years ago. Cabal is still crap now IMO, but they just got a new update I heard and it might be worth checking out. The host company is horrible(original creators, EST Soft), worse than their last one(OG Planet). You might want to try out Aion, but it's not doing much better. NCSoft pretty much killed it pre-2.0 which made me quit. Seems to be doing a little better now though. I'm currently playing Guild Wars again, waiting for Guild Wars 2 next year.

We all know that The BL's BM2 is one of the best and the FB's BM2 IS one of the worst..

You get penalized for pvp'ing too much, which was just the icing on the cake for me. Rifting limitations were placed. And on top of that they made pve way too goddamn easy. As if it wasn't easy enough before when people could 2 man DP B rank and 3 man A rank. Once slaved over drops drop like crazy and you don't need to work for anything. It's crap.

@Leodorin93 the thing you described is very ture sadly ON NA SERVER. in KR CN(no one plays there anymore) or other servers you could actually see some duel with skills. But I have no idea which dumb kid on NA server came up with the idea "duel should not include movements" which turned PvP into pure standing still and press 0~9.

i have a fb many guys said that wa is the best in pvps but i defeated a lot of wa, anyway if this is not the best char in pvp or pve, it is the coolest char in the game in my opinion. fbs have the best looking gears/equipments and skill animations + some dmc kind of style in them which is too cool to resist.
