@kilkolio The original story is that Croc was born with a type of atrophy that gave him reptilian traits, and he became progressively more reptile and less human, which was his main psychological problem. And Batman doesn't want to kill baddies, just incapacitate them.

Maybe I would have liked this Croc better if we had gotten a definitive origin for him. One of the few things The Batman did well was when they did actual origin episodes for their villains, but they cheaped out when it came to Croc.

Killer Croc's best design is in the Batman. I like how he actually looks like a crocodile and not some green scaled human with a big overbite. And besides, when you add Ron Perlman to the Killer Croc, it just gets even better! =D

Personally I love the original TAS of Batman, this one had potential but pretty much sold out to the child demographic and made too many changes that screwed up the Batman story and style. Although I normally wasn't too fond of 'The Batman,' I must admit I like this version of Croc. Here, he's smarter than he is in most other versions while still just as physically deadly, and Ron Perlman as usual gives a good voice performance. I liked in the beginning of 'Swamped,' when he first makes his entrance and forces the thugs to join him.
