I guess the question here is not who's as good as Yesudas but who among the second generation of singers is the better of the two. Madhu Balakrishnan, no doubt; Vijay Yesudas hardly comes anywhere near him and he himself has acknowledged this in Sangeetha Maha Yutham.
Madhu Balakrishnan..wow!! perfect xerox copy of Das Annan's voice. But there is only one Das Annan. Even SPB cant sing his songs. OK not bad,guys. you did well.

@ghostneguz Yes, u guys do not support new singers. After yesudas and SPb, we need some new singers.They are oldies and things of past. So, encourage new singers. Das Sir is perfect but he sang 50000 in many languages to get that perfection. Madhu will also be perfect one day.
@prazuprazu its nt questioning of support....the comment was madhu's voice is an exact xerox copy of das..tat itself clearly shows tat he is just an imitation n trying 2 ape the legend....there is no bigger insult for a singer than loosing his or her individuality....n regrading the rendering...expressions r natural....das adds expression to the music n its always applauded by majority of music directors...madhu shuld have heard this song more than 20 times n yet he sung without expressions..
@prazuprazu Dude...das sir is a phenomenon which cant be expressed in words....He was perfect from the first song he sang and thats what we called god gift and as the malayalees lovingly call him the gaana gandharvan....check out his first song "Jathi bhedham" !
