I disagree with the parts of the video that I watched. I would say that is increasingly beneficial and practical to be left-brained. Sure, if you're getting chased by a saber tooth tiger then sure, being analytical makes no sense. However, if you work as an engineer or systems analyst (two very high paying jobs) then it makes perfect sense. The key is finding balance and not being too extreme. A left-brained person needs to be in touch with their sensing/feeling side.
boy, it took him a while to even get close to making his point... once he gets to the abundance / asia / automation part, it should be pretty clear where he is going...
I'm a mathematician. Pink fallaciously assumes that logical, sequential thinking is inherently analytical and not synthetic. This is false. For example. mathematics is perhaps the most supremely creative act of the human mind, and it's certainly as "right brain'" as visual art. Mr. Pink's account is true as it goes, but woefully incomplete. His conclusions are therefore suspect.
yeah it's 55 minutes. I got it off demonoid. If you listen to his left brained logical argument you will see he makes total sense because he is only reporting on what is going on.
I'm right brained how can I use that for me ?

I googled it and math is a left brained activity. I tried to post 2 links but I guess it won't work on this site.

part 2 please!

lol...yes Einstein was right brained. He is talking about how America is out sourcing routine work that exists in the linear realm.
I am right brained and I was also good at math. I suck ass at english which actually is left brained activities.
I used to be into computer programming 30 years ago also. I liked the creativity of it.
Math which is logical I believe comes from the left side though. Intuitive math is right brained.

Is there a part two? Because taken in this context it's incomplete, but it's interesting and i'd like to see the rest.
