They might be able to hear it but I doubt it would be loud at that distance. I'd worry more about if its legal to shoot where you live. The statutes vary a lot from town to town...in city limits vs out etc.
Well I'm pretty good distance away from town so that shouldn't be a problem. Also my neighbor shoots his guns in his backyard so I wouldn't think it would be a huge problem.
It is a .22 casing not a .38 . If you look at :04 the case is in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Thanks - The EX-F1 Casio cost $1,000 the last time I checked. They make 2 other cheaper versions now too, but the resolution is a bit lower and/or the frame rate is a little slower. I was lucky enough to be able to just borrow the one I used for this video...

Not quite. Classic Sig Sauer pistols use a tip up barrel similar to a Glock's. The 1911 Auto uses a fixed barrel that moves slightly backward without tipping up when the slide travels back, as do many of J. Browning's other designs.
The proper way to hold it is with ur right hand outstretched and your left hand holding the front of the muzzle that way u can try catch the bullet as it leaves.
Nice one! I filmed a glock-17/P-80 with my Casio ex-f1 and could clearly see the bullets at 600 fps and 1200 fps :) Will upload the movies when my Slow motion compilation #2 is finished in a coupple of weeks..
The next time/opportunity I get to go and shoot, I am going to take a bunch of white boxes and try to create a large white background in hopes to getting a good contrast in order to try to get some bullet images.
I use the stuff from Hoppes. It will probably take a few thousand rounds to really break it in though, mine jams a lot less than it did when it was new. I once tried putting a red dot mount on the rail, and the pressure caused the slide the bind up, so I don't know why they bothered to put a rail on a polymer frame gun.

Yeah I had several empty 550 round bulk boxes laying around before it really started jamming a lot less than when new. The 36g hollow points are less accurate, I like the 40 grain lead round nose.
I just ordered a p226 the other day as my first handgun and I feel stupid for just noticing this but I never really realized the force of the slide being pushed back also cocked the hammer for the next round in the process.

Thanks - The EX-F1 Casio cost $1,000 the last time I checked. They make 2 other cheaper versions now too, but the resolution is a bit lower and/or the frame rate is a little slower. I was lucky enough to be able to just borrow the one I used for this video...

On the 9 mil pistol it looks like the barrel moves just like the m1911.

Not quite. Classic Sig Sauer pistols use a tip up barrel similar to a Glock's. The 1911 Auto uses a fixed barrel that moves slightly backward without tipping up when the slide travels back, as do many of J. Browning's other designs.

The proper way to hold it is with ur right hand outstretched and your left hand holding the front of the muzzle that way u can try catch the bullet as it leaves.

Nice one! I filmed a glock-17/P-80 with my Casio ex-f1 and could clearly see the bullets at 600 fps and 1200 fps :) Will upload the movies when my Slow motion compilation #2 is finished in a coupple of weeks..

The next time/opportunity I get to go and shoot, I am going to take a bunch of white boxes and try to create a large white background in hopes to getting a good contrast in order to try to get some bullet images.

i used to own sig sauer p226 and steyr m9 both are better than sig sp2022,but now i'm stick with walther P99 9mm. it's the best handgun i ever had...

I use the stuff from Hoppes. It will probably take a few thousand rounds to really break it in though, mine jams a lot less than it did when it was new. I once tried putting a red dot mount on the rail, and the pressure caused the slide the bind up, so I don't know why they bothered to put a rail on a polymer frame gun.

Yeah I had several empty 550 round bulk boxes laying around before it really started jamming a lot less than when new. The 36g hollow points are less accurate, I like the 40 grain lead round nose.

I just ordered a p226 the other day as my first handgun and I feel stupid for just noticing this but I never really realized the force of the slide being pushed back also cocked the hammer for the next round in the process.

lol its called blowback operated semi automatic the walther p99 series are the same principle but single action semi, which in my opinion is the safest kind of handgun in the world. unless your some G with his gun tucked in his pants, loaded and primed.... good way to blow your dick an balls clean off if you ask me...

precisely some guy in the news here in toronto a couple years back for doing just that baggy pants and a single action semi auto of the walther P99c variety with a quick action trigger... guy was smart enough to leave it ready to fire, tucked in his waistband. needless to say, after a few dance-moves at the club, he was left but a fraction of the man he had originally been. Lesson here is don't be like the gangsters , blowin their man parts away like that. nice mosquito though, ...
