Each time I listen to this song, I cannot even get out of my chair afterward. She melts me with her soothing voice that just penetrates into my deepest parts. I listen to so many other artists and I am so impressed by their huge talent. But every time I return back to listen to Regina I realize how great she really is. Just like Prince wrote and Sinéad O'Connor made popular, the words "Nothing Compares to You" might as well have been written about Regina.

It's weird how many non americans there are in NYC, though. There are so many accents in there. You can see it everywhere, even when you choose a language for buying a ticket in the subway it's not "english" \ "other languages" but tons of language buttons and English is just one of them.

sorry to drag this- but I was just thinking, maybe she did the new yorker thing on the word "office" because of the whole image of new yorkers working in offices? (like in every possible movie about new york. A river of people in suits). Because it's really different, she doesn't always use this accent.
