@FigureskateLover100: That's just how the flowers are (at least at that time of year), I didn't do anything to get that. The "house" at 0:05 is actually a tent. Summer campers appear on weekends in summer, and they stay in those tents. The house at 0:45 is just a regular house. I don't hack or cheat.

@AssassinBunny107: Yes, I paid off all my debt years ago. The town wouldn't restart on its own. Either someone else restarted it, or you're using the wrong memory card, or your memory card went bad somehow.

@NostalgicSince2005: No, you never need to go to another town to catch a fish. It's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It's not unusual for guides on the web to have the wrong months or hours for a certain fish/bug. Check for other guides to see if they might have different times.

@ThisIsWhatISay94: Those are golden shovel trees. Bury a regular shovel in the daily glowing spot and a golden sapling appears. If it survives and matures, you will be left with a golden tree that gives you a golden shovel. And the tree remains golden forever.

Today I caught my 8th fish. It was a coelacanth. It wasn't that hard to catch and it was just a little bigger than a sea bass/red snapper. I was hoping it would be a little more epic, but oh well. Yay me!

this is how you get a golden tree you need two normal shovels and then you have to look for a shiny spot that in the ground and then you dig it out and find 1000 bells and after you do that you bury one of the shovels in the shiny spot and then wait some days and go back to that spot and you should have a gold tree and if u shake it a golden shovel should come out.

I miss back when the town was multi leveled with mountains and hills. Now the Wii version relies on the town lay out form wild world. Wild world was good because it was impressive for what they could put on the ds, but citly folk should have had much more.

BKFan342: Yeah, probably. Some fish are rare and don't show up often, so it still takes a lot of time, but each type of fish doesn't require a different strategy to catch like some insects do.
