In UK, they lowered cannabis to a Class C drug but then put it back up to class B. In my opinion, alcohol seems to have some Class C, Class B and even Class A properties to it depending upon the use. I think both are fine in moderation though.

In Canada industrial hemp is legal to grow but the THC is limited to 0.1 %. The problem with that is you get less seeds on these plants which reduces the productivity per acre of seed oil.

For all the college hopefuls that are denied student grants because of cannabis use, the problem stems from prohibition. For all the people on probation that fail a urine test for cannabis, it is just another way to keep them locked up. For all the people who lost their jobs for choosing the safer alternative, availability is not an issue rather the laws surrounding it.
