He wore a helmet and full suit of clothes when he strangled her to avoid defensive wounds from Stacy, no evidence either. Then brought her to his plane, probably in the barrel. Switched barrels, cut her open to release gases, bore holes in the container, weighed it down and flew over lake Michigan to dump the body/container, blue barrel and all clothes, helmet, evidence in the lake as well....

@pillowbugg I totally agree with you, I believe he put the barrel in the plane and dropped her in the ocean, in the movie it stated that he said he had to sell the plane for lawyers fees, convenient don't you think.  I don't understand how anyone can do that to a person who bore their children. Evil is as Evil does.
