if you see someone expertly wielding a fan knife like its some extension of his hands, you will run away vs. someone who is just holding a kitchen knife

the point is I think fan knives where invented to conceal but once you take it out, its also invented to psyche out your opponent! its a brilliant pinoy invention :)
