the ps1 emulator is pretty good now. i play my games at full framerate. its not perfect but its decent

Latest GeeXboX blows this protoype away. Framerate is awesome now, and it loads videos flawlessly from my NTSC HDD.

hehe no one will ever get an xbox game to run on the wii. the only way to do that is emulate it and for emulation you need at least 5x the power than the system you are emulating.

the wii games can go 720p IF you run it on dolphin wii emulator on pc but you need a strong pc

but the wii unforunetly can only go 480p

I see, thanks for the info, im using the usb and sd for videos, they dont look that bad , like the Mplayer Ce is great for smb, but sucks at playing media files, the Mplayer (without Ce) doesnt have smb n could play most files (not long movies)..... i guess xbmc still the best media center around in console for now.

never thought about doing that. i heard that using usb runs the risk of disk failure. correct my if i'm wrong that's what i have read. don't use gamecube mem cards ever when using homebrew altogether.

Guessing it's the Wii, early beta version. The readme says to regard it as sort of a "demo" release since there are many many bugs.
