my NAA mini 22mag 1 1/8" is maybe the best bang for buck in the areas of concealability, accuracy, and penetration(at close range) given its extremely small stature. yes, it loads slow, but i can put one in each pocket if i want; besides, i figure if i need more than 5 shots i'm prob. toast anyway.

Whoa! I too am impressed. To have a short barrel like and be consistent, nice shooting! It is a close encounters type of protection so it is good to know that even shorter ranges can bring good results. I wonder what ammo was used.

I just picked up the WASP from NAA today. Looks about the same size as the Black Widow and I"m hoping for the same accuracy. How many rounds did you shoot to get that proficient with the Black Widow?

Obviously these were legitimate shots (no metal backing and a shot shell would have popped both balloons). However, if you want to replicate this kind of shot and aren't as good as this guy (and few probably are), one trick with balloon shooting a single balloon is to use shot rather than a slug (such as CCI shotshells). If just one of the #12 shot hits the balloon, pop it goes. Another is to use a metal backing and allow the spall from a nearby impact (of a lead bullet) to pop the balloon.

@snowdogthewolf I have shot # 12 shot with a naa 22 mini mag. at 20 meters they are hard to find even the smallest mark on target, it's real shots here, the black widow has sights on it unlike the mini mag.

This isn't unrealistic. I can hit a soda can at 100 yards with my 4" ruger MKII.

The mini master and black widow mini revolvers actually have very nice sights. 100 feet is doeable with this weapon. The mini master would probably be able to do the same thing out to 100 yards (300 feet).

A lot of revolver shooters actually do shooting at 300 yards (900 feet!) and beyond. Do not dismiss the long range capablity of handguns in the hands of a skilled shooter.

cgi, fake, camera trick? Whatever. That is not a hard shot if you just practice. Even with that gun. People tend to exaggerate when it comes to guns. A .45 will not take your arm off nor will it stop everyone it hits with 1 shot. A .22 will kill a person, not just piss him off. The truth, you can shoot long distances with tiny guns if you just practice.

Yes, but, can you find a .22mag that is concealable and that will fire as fast and as many rounds as a subcompact .380? Now on the flip side of the same subject,,,,can you find any .380 ammo anywhere. The .380 has become such a popular little round that ammo is scarce, however .22 mag ammo seems to be more available.

Your best best is to either go to a gunshop and buy a case or try walmart on a daily basis till they get some ammo in that you want. They get ammunition in nightly..

sparklerbombg -- The 22 magnum has plenty of penetration to hit any vital organ inside th ehuman body to make it lethal.

The problem comes from the lack of expansion a 22 has which for the most part is none unless you hit bone. The 22 bullet will create a pinhole wound which will make for a slower incapacitation time and or death based on these factors alone.

Even if a 22 expands it is minimal at best, the most lethal aspect of a 22 LR or 22 magnum is its ability to penetrate to hit a vital organ.
