@Sig552M I will! As far as I know, I don't really follow any specific scales. At least I don't THINK scales when I make the riffs, it's more like that in my solos. But I guess I use a lot of locrian, harmonic minor, diminished arpeggio-shapes, and natural minor sometimes... Oh, and also LOTS of chromatics, haha.

@AviatorAndyK There are still lots of us around...too many record companies keep us hidden because theyre afraid of putting out anything good anymore. We all have to buy studio time while all the sound alike posers get helped out all the way by people with bad taste. Its really dumb how record companies keep putting out all these bands that sound exactly alike but there are 400 of them so they think its variety. But there are always guys like Persemb who can thrash the place.

@neo69hk I always use 0.10 on my Explorer (rhythm guitar), and 0.09 on my Jackson and Ibanez (lead guitars).

Well, I use one of the amps a lot. The Line 6 Big Bottom, it satisfies my rhythm tone needs quiet well. But to me, that's it when it comes to good rhythm tones from the metal pack. At least to now. I'm not sure if you can get better tones if you get the effects pack so you have more overdrive pedals to boost and tighten the tone.

When it comes to lead tones, there's more amps from the metal pack that suits me there.
