wow! This will sound dumb, but could one use a hair dryer to apply the heat? You know, so I wouln't have to buy another tool for my next project lol

Something tells me this is gonna look sexy as hell judging by how quality your last project looked to be when finished up. Definitely fancy checking back to see how this progresses. There are a number of guitar building videos on youtube but very few of them really show the crafting at work, it's usually "here's what I have now" *skip forward* "here's what we have today" type stuff. Good to see though, as a guitarist you can't help but wonder how possible it is to make your perfect instrument.
