  • this song is a kick ass video i wish they could make another 1 just like this and put the same song in it

  • This is an underated Gem. it may sound a bit like thriller but has amazing weird bits

  • Good Horror Movie !

  • I was born in 1991, damn it why couldn't I have been born sooner? or why did the 80's have to end? Life sucks :( lol

  • J peter Robinson scored The believers

  • kicks ass.

  • Best horror-rock song ever.

  • bless the 80's! this is coming from a person born in the early 90's.

  • @BoogieAndMeowth Its not hard to find the version with this song, you shouldn't have turned it off. Its a great movie.

  • This song rocks!

  • @BoogieAndMeowth - Warner Brothers used the wrong print for the DVD release. They used the print with the original films score, which was replaced just before the film hit theaters in January 1989 by the score by J. Peter Robinson. Somehow the rights were not attached to the master print, only the theatrical print

  • i love this great motherfucking brainblaster! :D

  • I'm am so damn proud to be from the 80's God bless my generation!!!

  • This seems to be a heavy variation on the Trioxin theme from the first movie.

  • @Mwgedd It is...

  • Peter Robinson did the score for The Wraith (1986) and The Gate (1987)

  • @tiiito1988 The Gate....*shutters*

    Workman is my personal boogeyman...

  • @BoogieAndMeowth yeah they messed with the sound on no1 on teh re release it drives me crazy cos i cant find a version with original edit ahhhhhh

  • yeah most do.

  • WHY did they CHANGE this theme on the dvd???????????

  • @rustedrails i haung on to my vhs. fuck the other theme on dvd. J peter 's music is up there with christ young

  • @rustedrails because of some bullshit that it was too scary..

  • They changed the music in the dvd for this part and it pisses me off!

  • @bathorysthroat put the fuckin DVD on FRENCH, you'll hear it!

  • I love Zombiemovies, where they awake like here, and than with a great soundtrack!

  • Dudes....seriously why has this not already been put on the Left 4 Dead sound tracks?

  • Ah this rocks, i so love this movie, first horror i saw when i was 8!!

  • I love the soundtrack the only thing about return of the living dead 2 movie was that i never understood WHY WERE THE 2 GUYS FROM THE 1ST MOVIE IN THE 2ND MOVIE WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY TURNED INTO ZOMBIES IN THE 1ST MOVIE TO BEGIN WITH!!!

  • @onaga2406 its a comedy/horror so it was for irony..plus they were frank and freddy in the original...and Ed and Joey in part 2 so its not like they are reprising their roles.

  • People thatsh Return of the living dead 2 like it was the downfall of the franchise(Return of the livng dead 3 is where the true milking of the franchise began) sure 2 dosnt have the exact charm of 1 but it was funny, and I have to say 2 has its own charm.Just dont expect 2 to be ground breakingly awsome as Return of the living dead 2.

  • just full of 80s magic, so fucking awsome

  • FUCK YES!

The intro to this song is the theme song from the first movie!

    Great shit!

  • @commentmutant You probly already know this but you can find most of the 80's horror on youtube. IMO its pretty kool. It's also great getting to talk with kool horror fans like you. Cause most people nowdays are stupid. I mean like I said going to the movies and hearing kids talk about how fucking great Piranha 3D is going to be just makes me sick. The original piranaha is kool but this new shit, Hell the tv ad alone is annoying enough to make me want to smash my damn tv.

  • Another good one is Maniac Cop...

  • @commentmutant What were your favs...

  • @101Petercriss101 WELL... you just listed everything i like man, lets see.. Silver bullet was hella scary! man you took all my movies! lol i saw the funhouse again last night! you rock man!!

  • @commentmutant But something I did find whiel watching tv the other night is they are playing the original piranha forgot what channel. But I looked it up online and seen that it came out in 78 I knew I remebered watching it on tv as a kid and I honestly liked that one but the one I remeber most is the Piranha where they mutated and had wings and would fly out of the water and bite people. Horror films and rock and roll that was my life in the 80s that and batman 89' and it still is.

  • Absolutely love this - the guitar tone is insanely perfect! :D

  • @commentmutant And I know what ya mean about being a kid in the 80s and watching the movies. My dad worked for U/A In georgia cinemas 8 and growing up I got to see all the movies for free and as much as I wanted. Hell one of my greatest memories is watching a movie called demons and seeing people look at me in shock that a little kid was sittig watching a horror flick in the dark alone and at such a young age it was great...

  • @101Petercriss101 i bet they were big time douchewads, What where your favorite horror movies as a kid?

  • @commentmutant Some would debate on some of these being horror or not but my favs were always return of the living dead, Demons, Night of the demons,. Killer Klowns from outer space, Night of the creeps.Creepshow 1 and 2. All of the friday the 13ths except for part 5 that one sucked. All of the anightmare on elm streets.Child's play. Fright night,.Evil dead, most of the stephen king stuff, the lost boys, Howling, critters, Pumpkin head, the fun house, Hellraiser, the exorcist, puppet master...

  • @101Petercriss101 omg what a badass list!!! i remember as a kid seeing that chick shove the lipstick into her nipple and i was like WTF??? is that sexy or scary??

  • @commentmutant Having a mom who would rent horror movies like the universal classic horrors, night of the living dead, Halloween, TCM, for me. And having a father who worked at a movie theater. And then there was the tv series I watched Tales from the crypt, Monsters, Tales from the dark side, The Outerlimits, And Freddy's nightmares. I got really in to the horror shit of the 80's not to mention the comics. I'm just the typical 80's rock and horror geek...

  • @101Petercriss101 OMG, i spent the night at a friends house and saw that friday the 13th was on. (what a good sleepover movie right?) and i am about to put it on and he says "My mom wont let us watch that, my sisters might see it". I was fucking pissed..

  • @commentmutant LOL My parents were always the ones saying as long as you don't get hurt or hurt any one else its ok. Thats why when people would complain about me watching horror movies at my dads theater mom was always like what the fuck is your problem is he your child, No then leave him the fuck alone. And that person would just be left all shocked and shit. I grew up with very open minded parents. But parents that could easly call peoples bluffs...

  • @101Petercriss101 And badass man, too bad we couldnt have been friends. The 80s was a badass time for both music and movies. I mean the list is crazy. Did you ever see nightmare cafe?

  • @commentmutant Odly enough if you were to see me face to face you'd probly be freaked. I dress like I'm from the 70's And I speak my mind openly. I hate politcs, liberals and trend fuckers. I live my life more for the past cause I've seen the future and the future is shit. Thats why most around here just don't like me. And I haven't changed since the 80s. Got a little older and a little wiser but thats about it

  • @101Petercriss101 you are the best friend i never had, lol.

  • @commentmutant As for the nightmare cafe I don't know if I have or not. There is so much that I remeber but sadly don't know the name of. Infact a movie I keep searching for but can't find because I just don't remmeber the name. I remember the movie poster having a trucker holding a wrench with a eyeball and his truck being parked on the side of the road. I even remember a lot of the movie it self but what its name is I just don't know. And it bugs the shit out of me...

  • @commentmutant But yeah The first two were the better ones Most definitly. The first was and will always be my fave but some how I still ened up likeing the one with the girl who dies by a broken neck at the beginning and ends up a zombigirl covered in shards of glass at the end. It had its good moments but it also had its shitty moments But still far better than any thing out nowdays. And failed remakes like Piranha 3-D just make me sick. And even more so when kids think this shit is new...

  • @101Petercriss101 yeah the other halloween movis fried my brain into confusion as a kid, especially the year of the witcg. WTF, i was dissapointed. House of a 100 corpses was BADASS! pirahnas in 3d? are you serious?

  • @commentmutant Yep Pirahnas first originaly came out in the late 70's or 80s can't remember it also went by another name if I remember right. I just know it was a B movie. But now its been remade and in 3d just like every thing else thats coming out now days. And I just find it funny that kids wanna say its a bad ass horror flick and how original it is and so on and so on. its a sick sad world...

  • @101Petercriss101 OMG, WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT IT LOOKD "BADASS"?? dear god i fear for the young ones. being born in late 1980s. My family, well I got to see all those badass 80s horror movies. From nightmare killers, zombies, to possessed dolls that cuss! god movies suck now, its only once in a long while that a good one comes along.

  • @commentmutant Some kid at the theater was talking to his friend and said dude this is gonna be bad ass. I just laughed quietly and walked away. Mostly I think kids just loving seeing tits and girls screaming. But if thats all a kid wants is to see tits on screen hell get a blu ray and watch porn. But I've always been the one who wanted to be a writer director but always figured that people would hate my brand of horror due to the fact I like my horror on a more real and serious level.

  • @reedeema And in the 70s and 80s things were far diferent most kids hung out at the arcades, video stores and comic shops. But kinda like how kids of today text each other with word phrases like BFFS an shit like that. Geeks in comic and videos stores who couldn't get enough space invaders were uesing word phrases like TCM to feel intellectual and kool I guess. I mean at least thats where I got it from lol...

  • Awesome track! Thanks for uploading!

  • i hope there is a zombie apocolypse...i will bump this on my ipod and slay some hordes

  • I'm burning this so I can play it in my car..lol

  • die beste zombiekomödie aller zeiten

    best zombie comedy ever

  • if you think horror movies these days scuk , give me a hell yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhh

  • @reedeema hell yeah

  • @rowdyroughman lol thx ^^

  • @reedeema your welcome

  • @reedeema fuckin A man you said it!

  • @reedeema hell yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh

  • @reedeema I know your post is 4 months old but I'm still gonna reply.

Trust me I was in the 80's and we thought the same shit then as we do now modern shit sucks. But looking back things seem better in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s because with alot of people not all people it simply has to do with missing whats left behind. Missing ones childhood. But in some ways things are starting to come back. And in some ways better than ever but its the underground stuff I'm refering to ...

  • @101Petercriss101 i know what you mean , but even thgou i wasent around over 50 years ago i can easily watch the good old bella lugosi do his dracula thing over almost any new horror movie these days ;)

  • @reedeema Agreed. I've seen rob zombies films and can honestly say I wish he wouldn't make any more because all he is doing is rehashing Texas chainsaw massacre. Even when he made the halloween films. If you know any thing about Tcm then you will know what I'm talking about. He also used tcm references in songs so it only makes it that more obvious. But like I said yeah mainsteam and the remakes are shit. But keep an eye out for those underground films I'm sure you'll find some you'll love.

  • @101Petercriss101 adreed ;) but i really must say i enjoyd his movie house of a thousand corpses =)

  • @reedeema LOL Thethats the biggest TCM ripper LOL... By the way if you like classic horror such as 1931 kinda stuff hope you know they are remakeing all of the old ones wolfman is just the first in a long line to be remade, well actualy the mummy but eh...

  • @101Petercriss101 lol im stupid whats tcm mean ^^

  • @reedeema Your not stupid dude. I'm just from that era and most of the time it was just known as T.exas C.hainsaw M.assacre the way it was in the 70s. But the New day bullshit remake spells it Texas Chain Saw Massacre TCSM. But horror and comic geeks world wide would simply just use the lettering NOTLD instead of the full name Night of the living dead.

  • @101Petercriss101 oh ok =) thx . well all we can hopp for is somebody to come and do it the old fashion way you know without the cgi and what not .

  • @reedeema Well cgi can be good for things like scenes where you need a million corpses attacking the city kinda thing it would be a helecopter shot looking down at an angle. Something like that would need a cgi shot.. But in most cases a simple minature would do. But for the most part film companys have taken the magic out of filming. I will say that the only new film I like is the new wolfman but still it to had its good and shitty moments.

  • @101Petercriss101 your absolutley right on that on . the magic thats the key word . the wolfman im still planing on watching ;)

  • @reedeema Well I can say this when I took my wife to see it in the theaters it made her jump and get closer to me all that good shit. But as for me I like alot of the film but there are parts that just made me say what the F'n hell. But if you like the werewolf films from around The 1941 era you might just like the new one. And if you have one get it on Blu-ray its better on the blu ray than just regular dvd...

  • @101Petercriss101 true true , good thing i got the ps3 ;)

  • @reedeema Theres a shit load of extra content and alternate endings plus other stuff to. And soposedly another wolfman is being planed. But I atleast think its worth it but that just my opinion on things...

  • @101Petercriss101 ill defenetly get to watching it . thx for the conversation =)

  • @101Petercriss101 either way, the bastards took out this song from the movie and used some gayer song for the scene..

  • @commentmutant Yeah but still the movies at least the first one was great but then it got stupid IMO as they went on some loved them some hated them but all in all at the end of the day at least some one was happy...

  • @101Petercriss101 Yeah i stick with the first and second. the rest dont even come close.

  • @commentmutant Thats kinda how Rob Zombie feels about the halloween films. But I always found it just od how he loved only the first two halloweens But yet he got the little girl from 4 and 5 to be in his version of the original 1 and 2. Off topic I know sry just came to mind when I read that...

  • @commentmutant Yeah, one and two are great. The rest are nothing compared to these classics. The third one hasn't zombies in it really until the end. Number two, this one, I think is the absolute best.

  • @aaronpryan The style, setting. the 1980s did horror movies justice. I saw this movie with my cousin during a sleepover. those were the best as a kid. watchin scary movies stayin up late! eatin pizza!

  • @commentmutant Ah yes! Can't beat a great 80's horror. Look at the "horror" movies they make today, think they can't make a movie today to save their life. I could watch this movie over and over, absolute classic! Sure pity they don't make them like this anymore. It's all CGI now and the add-in sound FX. Even the make-up on the zombies in the new ones are so false looking compared to this.

  • @reedeema

    hell nooooo!

  • @reedeema

  • @reedeema FUCK YEAH

  • @reedeema hell yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhh! This was/is my favourite 80s horrormovie. I rented it like a 100 times when I was a kid. I was 11 in 1987. Man I miss the 80s. Good times! :D

  • @Voltabulous damn right my friend ;)

  • @reedeema Fido, Undead, The Descent, Shaun of the Dead, Let Me In (as well as Let the Right One In), The Crazies (remake), 3 Extremes, Signs, Zombieland, Shutter Island, Trick R Treat, Eight Legged Freaks, Dawn of the Dead (remake), My Bloody Valentine 3D (to a lesser extent), Piranha 3D, Grindhouse, and The Machinist are actually only some of the movies that prove that you are WRONG!

  • @QueenAnya12 fido ... shaun of the dead ... signs ... zombieland ...shutter island ... the machinist arent even horros movies so i quess your wrong buddy ... even the ones that are in your list cant even get close to the 70s and 80s horror feeling .....

  • @reedeema

Ugh....signs isn't horror? Then what is it?

  • @compsciguy well id call it sience fiction.

  • @QueenAnya12

You forgot about The Ring, The Grudge, Paranormal Activity 1 and 2, Silent Hill, Wolf Creek, Inside, The Abandoned, The Eye (orignal Asian version) etc. But yeah...some of the ones you mentioined are flat out comedies.

  • @reedeema i agree.

  • @reedeema

I do preferr older horror, but there's a few good ones these days. The foreign ppl know how to scare you.

  • @reedeema Hell yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nothinghappens1 thats the spirit hehe ....

  • @reedeema

    hell yeah

  • @reedeema HELL YEAH!

  • @MordaciousFilms thats the spirit lol ....

  • First two RotLDs were my favs.

Third was okay but kind of weird, with the love theme thrown in.

Necropolis had an awesome name but sucked.

From what I remember, Grave Rave = a few moments, mostly bleh.

I think a RotLD remake has great potential, but it should be called "The Living Dead" or "Living Death" or maybe something not so silly. IDK. ;)

  • @TheFingledorf

Agreed but with all the remakes being pooped out of hollywood's A-hole I don't think we need it. But yes it does have great potential but I don't want to see it done.

  • recently bought the movie on DVD and found that I had the version that was heavily edited. they changed this song for the dead rising to a crappier one. the movie was a waste of money

  • yep the first time i heard they were showing this movie on cinermax & hbo i was excited when i saw it i was like thats the origanel score

  • @SongSung8 Oh no. Hope I ain't got that version! Mines the UK Region 2 one.

  • @SongSung8 are you fucking serious? do you kow the song they replaced it with? its on here, it has words too right?

  • @SongSung8 Im currently editing the DVD release to include this instead among other things And yes what a crap release it is.

  • Great fuckin Soundtrack...sorry for the cussing, but it had to be said. They should put this on Left 4 Dead Part II, am I right people?

  • you are right great song

  • @Credithelper75 well i cant promise you that but i will be including 3 songs from the first film when i release rotld for left 4 dead 2!

cant post a link but google return of the living dead SBS

  • I LOVE the soundtrack to ROTLD 2. Just as up tempo as the first though I thought the movie was just a light hearted rehash of the first movie.

Some like that, some don't. ROTLD 3 while rubbish in the soundtrack department was a different and refreshing effort.

  • and the new syfy network dead films seemed like it would redeem the series but.....NOPE! FIRST ONE WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST!

  • The bassline on this track is badass . . . and the point is that it doesn't have any vocal lines !!!!

  • did they cut this out on the dvd verson

  • yes they did

  • true... but it was only cut on the American dvd release... during the scene, flip over to the French audio track, and you have this score.

  • do you know why they screw up the dvd soundtrack audio i heard they cut out my fav monster mash that sucks

  • yeah they couldn't "re-license" the music from a a number of artists for the DVD release. It all boils down to if the "re-issue" can pay what the RIAA wants for the track. So now do they spend the $2G's on an Antrax track or hire a artist to generate one for $1G.

  • i hope they get a remaster dvd of this with the orgnal soundtrack

  • IMO this one was better than RotLD 3, but certainly not as exciting as the first. And Necropolis and Rave don't deserve to carry that title. [The name "Necropolis" has such amazing potential for a zombie movie name, but they had to go and waste it.]

  • You got that right.

  • After II, things were getting silly....3 was kinda looking good at first, then went down hill. The "lab" (old man, white hair, etc) zombie is also the same one from Night of the Living Dead (1990 remake).

  • It's really a shame, because the "can't stop them unless they're totally destroyed" concept is, frankly, /completely amazing/. And if they could pull it off in the '80s [limbs flopping around, half a corpse talking, lower torso waddling, etc.], think about what they could do now. While it serves its place, whole humans with just some dark red stains on themselves running around doesn't really cut the "freaky" mustard for me, anymore. [I'm mainly thinking of "Zombieland".]

  • Yeah the "stained" zombies just don't cut it like some of the classic flicks did. Zombieland even though funny, the zombies just didn't cut it, the "cameo" zombie was more scarier. Zombieland should have hired Tom Savini.

  • lol bill murray ....that scene was fucking classic tho

  • download it and use it on left 4 dead...did you forget that he 360 supports custom soundtracks on all games?? omg its a blast with this type of music and a beer!! :)

  • They should have put this song on "Left-4-Dead" the video game, now that would have kicked some serious ass! right everybody? ;-)

  • sounds like old school skinnypuppy,I didnt care to much for the comedy side of this.I think by for 3 was the shit besides 1.

  • this song is kick ass

  • This song kicks ass....Zombies Rule!

  • why does this tune sounds so similar to the trioxin song in number 1, besides the dvd of rotld 2 I have plays a different song when the zombies come out of the ground, can anyone help me???

  • Yeah i know what you mean. I was mad they edited out this theme. This movie came on HBO or Cinemax a while ago, and they replaced this theme too. I guess the old VHS still has this song. I love this one.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't have the DVD, but I heard if you play one of the foreign language tracks, this original music plays. I think it's the French one. try it out!

  • Comment removed

  • goddd you are fantastic yes man it sounds when you choose french language thanks a lot I think I'll watch it again in french

  • thats because it is the trioxin theme.

  • Thanks for uploading. Love this tune.
