  • 3:05 - track 2

    6:35 - track 3

  • I had this game and somehow it was glitched so only track 3 would play. So it was awesome :)

  • looovd this game as a kid.. i took out my old amiga 600 yesterday and connected it. everything works. i find the discs too this game and when i start ofc you needed the handbook too enter a random word as a check that i bought the game -.- that was as far i got too play best game from childhood

  • Track 1 sounds a bit inspired by Zoolook by Jarre...

  • I want this video on my P835 unit.

  • The audio quality of the player you might have used is not very good, sounds almost like it is recorded with a microphone from the outside. btw. I'm going to record many tunes directly from my org. '87 Amiga 500 (a good sounding one, I know later Amigas sound more sharp because of no kind of that bass-filter the A500 had, but I like the sound-output of some of my A500s a bit better than the one of my A1200 for example) and will probably upload that recorded stuff at some time in the future.

  • This video went viral on Ethiopia

  • Seriously I never played a game giving me so much feeling than this game. The music, everything was so great in this game !! I was 5 or 6 when playing that but omg, sometimes I just install an amiga emulator and spend some time on that, remembering how great it was back then. :D

  • Track 2 sounds like Nutbush City Limits. :)

  • Put in floppydisc - change to track #3 - race all fucking day... Good old days :)

  • track 3, It doesn't matter if it is 8-bit,16-bit.... Awesome!

  • There's nothing worse than staring at the face of a cd player and knowing you can't change the track.

  • Track 3 Best Song ever in a race game :D

  • Watched it in 240p to make it more authentic...

  • When I brought this game the first thing I did was play all these tracks on my zi-fi speakers at full pelt...think I played the game after about 3-4 hours.

  • Love track 2, very similar to the Zool music which I also love!

  • I switched from the Amiga to the PC in the mid of the 90s, so I had both versions of the game, and I was shocked how bad the PC version sounded compared to the Amiga version. I also remember playing it on the 286s we had at school and it was way more choppy than on the 7MHz Amiga 500...

  • =O track 3! so many good memories from amiga like this, titus and desert strike . .

    thanks so much for uploading!

  • :) best

  • great blast from the past!

  • It is very strange that I still remember this tune (track 3), because I played Lotus 3 in fourth class. That means I was about 10, that means almost 15 years ago. And I still remember it and love it.

  • floppy disk loads faster than compact disc :-D

  • 3 track winszuje!

Tyle godzin co ja w tą gierkę grałam, wspomnienia tego bezcenne :))

  • Jaguar XJ220 had a lot better soundtrack :P but anyway this game and music was also cool :)

  • loved to play the first trackon the night or the futuristic courses

  • track 3 = PURE WIN!

  • Even through I'm OPL3 and DOS fan, I have to say that Amiga version is lot of better... too bad the game is little bit slow on original Amiga 500 :(

  • TRACK 3 is BAD ASS!!! Even though I am a SEGA and console lover dude I must say that Amiga is Legendary!!!

  • Has anyone got the Lotus III track that was also the theme tune to Zool to upload?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAN THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!! you got to love track 3, I am really crying! so many days lost in front of that game

  • @maikonauta Days in front of videogames like these are not lost dude but magically living the experience! =) 2D refuses to die!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAN THANKS THANKS THANKS!!!!

  • Bloody good job mate, brings back the joy I had when I came home from school to my Amiga :) ages ago but doesn't time fly! :)

  • As good as this sounds, for nostalgia purposes I prefer the sound blaster version.

  • @coyran

Sound Blaster makes everything awesome. Way back, a friend of mine had a really sick setup on his PC with Sound Blaster. Even something weak sounding like Megaman X DOS sounded boss on it. If only I have that setup. At least stuff like this don't need high quality audio output.

  • @coyran That's strange. I mean if you're nostalgic about the soundblaster version, doesn't that mean your parents got you a PC? I just can't understand how you have happy memories of such barbaric child abuse.

  • @doritostheking

Yes, my parents got me a PC and I did not feel abused by the idea. Amigas were cool and I even owned one, but a 7MHz processor probably didnt handle Doom or Quake very well.

  • @coyran Only very old model amigas had 7Mhz processors. Early as 1988 you could buy 16Mhz amigas, by 1990 there were 25Mhz amigas.

  • @doritostheking

Perhaps, but I stand by my decision. Doom, Quake, Wing Commander and of course Lotus 3 on my 486. Ahh great days!

  • @doritostheking unfortunately, it wasn't just about the CPU clock mate - even my 50MHz 030 CPU could not handle Z-Doom without a video card...Amiga's gfx chipset lacked a proper c2p support :-(

  • @gambar Erm, yeah it was. C2P can be handled entirely by software. Ask anyone with an 040 for a demonstration.

  • @doritostheking yup, I know, I was just trying to point out that the software handling needed too much CPU power... way tooo much even for the 040 - I know I could play Doom in a normal resolution in 20+ fps - but it took the PowerPC version to be able to play it in a higher resolution

  • @gambar Saying it's too much for the 040 because it won't do an above normal resolution is like saying a yaris isn't enough to commute in because it won't pull three trailers as well.

Fact is that an 040 is enough to get doom running at 25fps at the resolution the game was designed for, even without chunky graphics hardware. End of.

  • turpentine was for LOTUS 2, not 3 :DDD

  • this sounds like an art of noise song

  • mannnnn just had a long chat with my uncle about the good old amiga times.... damn how I missed them... this soundtrack really takes me way back.

  • TURPENTINE!!!! :P

  • WOOOOOOOOOW !!! that remind me the good times, when i was a little boy !?!?!?! thats a CRYZY feeling!! how the time rush ?!?!thank you so much for upload this man....!!!

  • What's up with the sound quality in this video, this is nowhere close to what it really sounds like. Check watch v=nTz5iwmtkrs starting from 1:19 to get some idea. It's pretty close as far as I can go from memory.
