  • This lens fits EVERY NIKON DSLR i am not answering this question anymore.

  • does this lense fit on a d3100?

  • @pgpg1 yes

  • @pgpg1 yes it does

  • That lens is probably one of the worst lenses out there. Well other than those awful mirror lenses. It's optically just as bad as the Canon EF 75-300 III and the APO name is just misleading considering those TRUE APO lenses like those made by Leica cost over 4000 bucks... so yeah...

  • @Hobbes4ever yup. thats why i dont have it anymore.

  • fits in the nikon d90?

  • does the hood come with it?

  • @Thiesson3114 Yes.

  • @Thiesson3114 yep, it comes with the lens.

  • Is Sigma 70-300mm APO DG for Nikon compatible with nikon d3100? thank you

  • @tretreant yes it does have the Macro feature its zooms in quite nicely. please subscribe:)!

  • i'm loving how you randomly have justin bieber and black tits in your tags

  • @ilhsfm hah yeah :), you notice the little things! if you like my other vidz please subcribe :)!

  • A red ring on a Nikon?

  • @ScotPhotography sigma has red rings on thier APO lenses i believe and a gold ring on their EX line which is their best lenses! please subscribe :!)

  • sigma ftw!

  • nice review!

  • does it have fast auto focus for skateboarding or do you have another lens to recommend?

  • @yeahitsmateo yeah it would be alright for skateboarding another good lens would be 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4, or a 70-200 2.8 sigma version which i have and has fast autofocus which i have done 3 reviews over just check out my channel! thanks for watching feel free to subscribe:)!

  • i got mind brand new for 160

  • @JDenchPhotography are u sure it was the APO version because ive seen that they have been selling the just DG for $160. i have a 70-200 2.8 on the way its replacing this lens :)

  • @ithree6mafia whats the difference between the regular dg and apo?

  • @Whatisright APO stands for Apochromatic

It is a lens corrected for chromatic abberations in all three primary colours. (Helps to reduce this). and is very much worth it. but i say if your going to get this lens just go for the DG model because the lens overall i think is not that good. i had the APO version, and the lens was still not good enough for me. im getting a Sigma 70-200 2.8 APO soon!:) thanks for watching. subscribe please:)

  • You said you like the Sigma 70-300 better than Tamron 70-300. I was just wondering why. Is it just the feel? How about IQ? Have you ever tried the Tamron 55-200, and if so, how would that compare? You should do a third video directly comparing the Sigma and Tamron lenses. Most people don't buy both, so it could be a first!

  • @diinIN i like the weight of it, and it cost more to the tamron is about $160 and the sigma is about $250. what is IQ? no i havent tried the 55-200mm. if i could go back i would not have boughten this lens. i would of gotten the Nikon 55-200 because its better quality. and i really dont need a 300mm focal length. the tamron lens wasnt mine, so i wont be able to compare them. but if i do ill will make a video for sure. but to be honest the tamron and sigma are basically the same quality.

  • @ithree6mafia Oh, okay, if the Tamron wasn't yours then you won't be able to compare image quality. I'd actually prefer a lighter weight lens, as my camera weighs enough! You got a good enough deal on it that you could probably turn around and sell it and put that money toward the Nikon. Thanks for your reviews, though. It helps to see them handled and to hear how loud they are.

  • @diinIN yourwelcome, thanks for watching. yeah im going to end up buy the nikon one.

  • Hi, may I know will it able to mount on Nikon D3100 or Nikon D7000 advise is apprecited.

  • @shaunleong yes it will mount perfectly on the nikon d3100 and nikon d7000. thanks for watching subscribe

  • does this work well with nikon d3000? im dying to know :(

  • @21hanii yes it works well with the d5000, so to answer your question it will work perfect with your d3000. a good zoom lens for about $180

  • @ithree6mafia thank you very much :)

  • im wondering about getting a nikon d3100 and there is two versions of this do you know what the difference is and will either of them fit? im pretty sure the d5000 and d3100 have the same mount but im new to this. so the two ones are --Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Autofocus Lens for Nikon AF and ---Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro Autofocus Lens for Nikon AF-D if anybody know please do tell me :p

  • @sardo97 can you send me the links of the two lenses where u want to get them from and i will take a look for you, but as far as i can think of i dont think the "AF-D" version will fit on your d3100. congrats also on getting the d3100 thats awesome! but as as for the lenses i cant really determine which one will mount, or not with out a link of the lenses. and also i have a review on the nikon 35mm 1.8 that will mount on your D3100 , which is a great lens that you should check out

  • hey do you shoot skateing or sports at all? how is the auto focus for this? like speed and all cause i think imma get this

  • hi there...i have a canon 1000D with the 18-55mm kit lens (only about 3x zoom)

I'm looking to get a good multifunctional telephoto lens foe a good price and from what i've heard and read, this one's a great lens for the features n price it comes at.

what i'm confused is the difference between this one and the non APO one....and u mentioned this one doesnt have Vibration Reduction....then what would that Optical Stabilizer on this one mean???

Does the non APO version have d same function of VR?

  • @Japfiio APO lens means Apochromatic.

Apochromatic lenses are designed to bring three wavelengths into focus in the same plane.

The residual color error (secondary spectrum) can be up to an order of magnitude less than for an achromatic lens of equivalent aperture and focal length. Apochromats are also corrected for spherical aberration at two wavelengths, rather than one as in an achromat

basically all that means is you will get a better picture, both lenses APO and Non APO do NOT have VR

  • hello sir! which is better--- Nikkor AF-S 200mm OR SIGMA 70-300mm?! what the difference between the two?! i dont know what's a good catch here?! thank you sir..

  • @MrKorean30 no such thing as a nikon afs 200mm lens, there is a 70-300 and 70-200 lens though, tell me which one and i can tell you

  • @ithree6mafia i mean nikon 70-200 lens. i got nikon d5000 and im planning to buy a new lens but i dont what to get... so, what do you is better, nikon 70-200 lens or sigma 70-300mm f 4.0- 5.6 DG?! thank a lot sir!

  • @MrKorean30 by far the nikon 70-200 that is one of the best lenses EVER but it dose cost 2000 dollars, while the sigma 70-300 only cost about 200 dollars

  • @ithree6mafia yup! im talking about the 70-200 lens! thank you

  • How about D 90 ? will it be fit on that?

  • @gamgurung yes it does fit the nikon d90

  • Does this lense fit for the Nikon D3000????

  • @jimz221291 yes it does fit on the nikon d3000. this exact model does.

  • u make me laugh wen u said "wen u see dat PRO look" hehehe funny..nice review

  • am what does apo dg for?

  • @iNak3d apo is just a different piece of glass to lower the color distortion, not that the color does distory or anything,. also reducing ghosting and flaring

  • made in china?

  • @bitchbastardson im think so . ill check though

  • @bitchbastardson No, made in Japan

  • Thank you for this review.

  • that isnt fully extended put it in macro mode and then it will be fully extended

  • @noobkid44 that is fully extended when you put it in macro it is 200-300mm and it dosent let you go below that when your in "macro" switch

  • i see.. alright, thanks.

  • @dannypandemonium i would say that this lens does better at shorter lengths like 150-200mm and under they look good, but both of the lenses are as good at 300mm, they are budget lenses so, you cant really complain

  • are the pictures better and sharper than the Tamron? or is it just almost the same?
