oh my god! this place looks awsome! starting this fall cant wait! and by the way, they tell you to start at the bottom and work your way up! thats how its always been!
All culinary schools are expensive. CIA is the most expensive but the best. Le Cordon Bleu is a profit school. Its a private school, so there you go. Le Cordon Bleu is the oldest culinary school in the world. Its french, so students have to learn many french traditional techniques and cuisines and not to mention vocabulary. I am still in school and landed a good job first try. Its lazy, cynical ass holes that dont make it in the industry.
@KyleboKyleByle So I`m 14 and I already want to go to the Le Cordon Bleu and guess what? I want to learn french. Is this a good choice or not? I`ve even called for the brochure thing. What`s your thought on this?
@MrBradylogan818 Who the fuck you think you are. You finished this school and now your starting from the bottom. You have to work your way up. I did the same school 20 year age in Paris. Am working now as a sous chef in the Bristol in Paris. Making 60000 euros per year. Getting 6 jobs offered every year. You don't get it if your are not willing to work your ass off.
$17,000 dollars? Read the reports and online investigations. 90% of the students payed over $60,000. Don't fool yourself. This school is a joke. Thats why CEC and LCB get sued by past students and LCB pays out. This school will eventually be shut down or sold.

you can go to this school now for a little over $17000 and be done in 9 months i mean yeah ur not going to make much right out of school but who does besides doctors and shit.i mean u pay more for a car than $17000 and in five years it done but in five years u still have the skills u learned at school i mean come on u have to start some where and then get out and work hard for what u want out of ur career
@catfishmaniac1979 tell that to my student loan payment I work 15 hour days. I learned more at my 3 month internship than I did in 15 months at school
CEC the corporation that owns Le Cordon Bleu is under Federal Investigation.
Visit my link and view lawyers who've developed class-action lawsuits against CEC schools before it's too late. CEC owns Briarcliffe and other schools.
Le Cordon Bleu is a degree mill.
Pass my video along to other Le Cordon Bleu past and current students. It's time the word gets out regarding Le Cordon Bleu deceiving business practices before it's too late..
and also, I think people are under the illusion that when they graduate from this school, they are eligible to call themselves a chef, when infact, they are far from it.
It is obvious that @MrBradylogan818 did not graduate from Le Cordon Bleu. It is FAR from a waste of money. Anyone who's actually gone there would never say anything this stupid. Why not tell us about the money you wasted at Stanford next?
@tolowulen I graduated from this exact campus in 2010. yes, its indeed a waste of your money. I seriously only think like 2 or 3 people from my class are even in the industry right now. If you have talent, don't go here. Go to a cheap community college type thing with a cheap culinary program. Youll have a degree, and your natural talent will take you much further than any $35,000 education from le cordon bleu EVER will.
@tys9569 I also graduated from there in 2008, and its all true. Go anywhere else. I have a pile of student loans I will never get paid back. Get a cheaper degree and move to a huge city. I can tell you from experience you will learn a lot more in the industry than you will at this school.
the problem is, that you automatically think your going to get out of school and make money...I am 29 and going to school now...I have been in the business since I was 13 years old starting out washing dishes in a pizza joint. My father has been a baker for 40+ years, you have to earn your way in this business it's not given to you, and a piece of advice...CHANGE THE ATTITUDE!!! Your attitude will determine your altitude.
Such a ripoff wasted so much of my time. I paid 24,000 and 9 months in school and I'm only making 9.00 an hour. I could have started as a dishwasher and it would have taken me 3 months to be in the position I'm in now. I hope they shut this school down. I know they tell you that you can make 16.00 an hour but I'm working at a restaurant rated top 3 in chacuterie. Waiters work 5 hours and make 200.00 a night. Please don't waste time if you want to cook go to Community college or wash dishes.
@MrBradylogan818 im sorry but didnt they say they dont guarantee wages or jobs there, and and in restaurants for the 1st 5 years of ur career ur gonna be getting paid shit money anyways
@MrBradylogan818 When I read the info it said they have nothing to do with salary. No college can guarantee you will make money. I got a bachelors in business, I'm still not a manager in anything and this been since 2009. Thats why being an entrpepreneur is the best thing right now. 4 years wasted! But I enrolled at LCB yesterday, this is my dream, I love cooking.
@MrBradylogan818 schools dont guarantee wages. If you are upset with the pay you get. Take your certification elsewhere. You are a LCB grad, it counts for something
@MrBradylogan818 They will not guarantee you any amount of pay, at least they shouldn't. You're not going to be making $15.00 an hour or more right after you graduate, you have to work your way up. It's like anything else in life. Example, if you join the Army, you aren't going to automatically become an E-5 after Basic Training. It takes time. If the waiters make that much a night, then try and become a waiter.
@MrBradylogan818 i accidentally hit thumbs up on this comment. btw, your food prolly tastes like shit cause you think only about the money. ppl should be cooks because they love doing it, and not bitching about how ur making above minimum wage doing something that should be loved. a "ripoff" is the wasted time teaching you.
@MelisaMisfit DO IT! I just enrolled in the Baking and Pastry yesterday. It's a beautiful campus and nice instructors. I met everyone during my tour. I start on June 30. The tuition includes everything, outfit, tools, books, etc.
In hopes that students from these schools might be able to submit their information into an online database. Just go to the Campus Progress website and click "for profit colleges" then scroll down and click "submit your story"
I start school in 11 days and can't wait to see just what it has to offer me. I know that doing this will get me going in the right direction to making my goals happen. Just to answer a few question out there. First school is 40,350 if you live in that state for 5 years or more. Second, apply for grants and for the aid they offer. I could not make my mind up on what I was going to do and they would call me all the time. I think they thought I was giving them the run around when in fact,
