Oh and the performance was somewhat of an informal event for parents of the boys. It was Robin's own idea to perform this piece, since he has practiced it in private, he wasn't trained at it at all. He wanted to see if he could pull it off, which quite obviously he did! The people attending were rather suprised and his parents greatly enjoyed it.

The piece he performed is from Mozart - Queen Of The Night, Vengence Aria from "The Magic Flute".

There is nothing hilarious about this. He is a very talented kid. His name is Robin Schlotz and at the time he was the lead singer in the Tölzer Knabenchor which you see in this video. This would be around 2004 or early 2005, age 13 I think. After late in 2005 Robin's voice deepned so he started singing different parts. He no longer performs opera but he's doing well, in Bavaria finishing up at school at Pater Rupert Mayer Gymnasium (preparatory school)

This kid is pretty great. Anyone who understands and respects the voice will see that this kid has great pitch and control for his age. It takes so much discipline.
