This song is so great, one of their best besides siberian breaks; in my opinion. Its working was written about ecstasy, and how it effects you blood but it isnt the same as love. Brilliant. rock on MGMT!

Most people will say it sucks becuase most people were just fans of Time To Pretend and Kids which were dance type songs which everyone seems to like but their new album is more indie and 60s psychadelic which i think is better because it reflects more of who they are and not just another pop dance artist

Um. MGMT's newer shit is the stuff they really enjoy playing. Unlike other artists, the money and fame is actually helping them make the music they ACTUALLY want to make. with a real band. Not just a computer and a few instruments. They aren't a joke anymore haha.

ummm no, they aren't. There is nothing awesome about them, especially now. Their first couple cd's were pretty good. However like most artists who get money and recognition, their starving souls have left the music and we are left with stuff that just sounds like it's just a job now instead of passion or drive.

the new stuff isnt psychedelic enough. and its missing the 80s influence. I liked how they mixed 60s and 80s. This just sounds like 60s poppy rock. Although this track is alot better than the other new songs they have showed off, which sound like the kooks or something terrible like that.

Have you listened to "Viva la Vida or Death and All Of His Friends"? I'd say that's a pretty expansive album on Coldplay's part. Thanks a lot to Brian Eno of course, but still, they are very very well put together and a lot more than just some acoustic guitar/piano driven dribble. MGMT is just boring. I don't see any life in them. I don't believe they care about what they're playing. Check out Yeasayer, they are all great friends, way better band in my opinion.

@jeager22 They are psychedelic I agree. I once saw Coldplay at V festival a few years back and they were so perfect about everything it was like listening to their album. I like music to have a bit of soul put into it. I find Coldplay playing cold when they play live. So yeah maybe they should smoke some pot. They'd probably make some great music.

If it wasn't for artists musical progression, Radiohead would still be playing mediocre brit-pop. Thank god they put Pablo Honey behind them. This new MGMT doesn't appear to be that great though, but we'll just have to wait for the album because they really do suck live.

thing is I wouldn't say they suck, just that their live performances really don't represent the records that faithfully. Not always great, but that's what I like, they're free to play all their songs differently live. Nothing worse than being stuck. So who knows, it will definitely sound tighter like on the first album, but I know it'll be good.. but yeah live they seem almost too free.
