any good flat iron can straighten your hair if you do it in a proper way but both of these might be best at present but trust me i tried a couple high end straighteners.... and ended up with a thought that it basically depends on what products you apply on ur hair after washing.... my hair get straighten up very fast but get wavy after few hours.... i tried few products and found some very interesting which keeps my straight all day lonG!!!! :-)

But sebastian has a higher degree, its more hotter than the GHD so it will straighten it better/same. If it's hotter then it's just burning your hair, worse then a GHD. Why use a sebastian when it's cheaper but yet damaging your hair, you can use a GHD at a lower degree and do the same job.

sure it's more expensive but sometimes it's worth it.

Thanks for the comparison but honestly, I feel that bc you already have naturally straight hair, it would affect the results. I would like to see the comparison on a person who has hair that isn't as straight but more on the kinky/wavy side..hair that is harder to straighten. That would really showcase how well the straighteners work especially the Sebastian one.

I got these straightners called sHe, O.O apparantly their made in the same or near the same factory as GHD's, i dna. But i've had em for 3 years and they still work lovely. :B and they were only £50 for the really wide ones. You can still find alot of cheap straightners which still work well but they never leave my hair feeling as soft as when its done by GHD's. O.O

@SMILEH4RD hi!....i got my ghd on Saturday and put it to the test yesterday after i washed my hair....i was bummed at first because i thought i bought the 2" one but i got the 1" one but still it actually did get my hair straight.  The ghd glides through and actually i only passed it on my hair once not twice like most people do....so far i love it!..I think i might post a response to this video...everyone complimented me on my hair today at work!....it looks better straighst...lol

@gls25 DO IT!!! The ghd only has an off and on switch though right? I don't like on and off switches anymore since mine is an on and off switch. I feel like when it's on, it's not hott enought.
