This is probably the most epic thing I've ever heard. Not only is this the only cover of BiA that does it justice, but it really steps it up and above what the original was. Not taking anything away from Dire, but NK really took this and made it their own. Simply amazing.

I think if metallica didn't throw it together last minute, they could have done it better, but Lars is a terrible drummer, he's one dimensional, not versatile at all. He is the weak link. I'd still like to see them try again.

At least Northern Kings know how to cover a song like this. This gives the song an extra dimension, a extra perspective. If you check out Metallica's cover on this song, all you will find is a lousy performance in an attempt to make it sound like the original.

Wow. I must admit, I had my doubts about any covers of this song. I love the original, and didn't think that anyone could really redo it. And in a way, I was correct. Northern Kings has not tried to redo this classic song. Instead, they have transformed it into something totally new and wonderful. I have to say, I'm totally impressed.

That's right, 'cause if they're too much like the original, there's nothing new about the cover, so you can just as well buy the original instead. Like for example there's this Norwegian attention-seeking TV-show-host who's making covers of old 70's songs, only she's making them exactly like the originals, only with a bad singing voice! =S The kings has renewed the songs, that's probably why the album is called "Reborn", and all of the Northern Kings are brilliant singers! =)
