  • What exactly are the chords for the picking part?

  • Great job! what are the chords and the strumming pattern? Thank you!

  • @Anw267 Thank you for the kind words! The chords can be found above in the "uploader comments" section as I responded to the same question earlier. I also believe that I commented with the strumming pattern at some point as well, so you can find a more detailed description in that comment. The gist of it though is simply "short-short-long-short-short-long-short-long". I do almost all down strums and play without a pick and find that I get the sound I want that way.

  • what are the last strings you are playing at the end?

  • @lizzBD I posted earlier on how that picking part goes. Click to the last page of the comments and check it out. Its pretty simple. If you need further explanation I can try to break it down more, but check out that explanation first :)

  • what's the strum pattern?

  • just kidding i found it!

  • I thought it would be difficult to pull off, but you did a good job making it the version masculine.

  • Hi, I'm trying to learn this song, got the note on the tweaks to G, A, E, C but I'm a bit of a beginner so not sure what those tweaks would be. I'll try to study your fingers on the neck, but if you have pointers that would be great!

  • @kimheejin78 no problem...ill give you the fingerings exactly as i am playing them :)

    E-A-D-G-B-e

    G : 3-2-0-0-3-3

    A : 0-0-2-2-3-3

    E : 0-2-2-0-3-3

    C : 0-3-2-0-3-3

They are not exactly G, A, E, C...but like I said...variations thereof. I still do not know the fretboard as well as I would like to so I don't know the exact names of the chords, but they definitely have those roots. Good luck!

  • @sprts8811 ok...here are the exact chord names...just for reference haha

    G, A7sus4, Em7, and Cadd9.

  • What are the chords?

  • I already posted them, click to view all of the comments and you should find more information down there. Good luck

  • too a risk , and its reaally good, MAKE MORE!!!!!!

  • I like your voice

  • Fantastic job! I love this song and you definitely do it justice!

And thank you so much for posting the strumming/picking pattern, definitely going to have to try this out!

  • Thanks for the compliment! and no problem on posting those patterns. If you need help just send a message and Ill do my best to explain it again.

  • @sprts8811 where did you post them?.... i cant find them, and i'm so anxious to play this song!! hehe btw this is great!

  • @ramattmonkey ..... oh found them... thnx for posting them!!

  • This is amazing. Your voice does the song a lot of justice. And you play the guitar wonderfully. Keep it up!

  • Thanks .......<3

  • you got the sttrumming down dude, mega props. im still tryna figure it out...

  • This is a great cover!

  • Woohoo 1,000 views! Thanks to everyone who has watched my video!! :)

  • nice cover good job

  • great cover of a great song!

  • Hey, nice job! I know you're just strumming the finger picking parts, but can you figure the finger picking part out and let me know cos i cant :(

  • the picking part at the end? It is pretty simple...I will assume that you can see the fingerings I am using (if that isnt true just let me know, but for the sake of saving space...).

the pattern is just alternating the B and e strings with the G in between each. So, G B G e G B G e. Each fingering one measure, with each note being an eighth note.

  • A couple of people have asked me about the strumming pattern on this so I will do my best to spell it out in words. It remains the same throughout the entire song.

I count out the tempo at the beginning of the video so try to continue counting that throughout. Count "1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &". The accents come on counts 2, the "&" of 3 and the "&" of 4.

in other words, short short LONG short short LONG short LONG, where the short strums are only strings 4-6 or so, and the LONG strums are all six.

  • great job!!

  • Hey what chords are you using?

  • Hey nate...they are just tweaks of G, A, E, and C... more or less the B and e strings stay put on 3rd, and the bass notes just change for each respective chord. The tab that I found is on ultimate-guitar
