  • Bleh. KDE4 is a huge step back from earlier versions, I see, but damned if it isn't superior in every way to GNOME 3 and Ubuntu's Unity... Ugh.

  • linux is best cant wait till the day it takes the market from windows and osx sucks only good for media

  • KDE works great on FreeBSD as well.

  • Functionality over form any day. But I'll take both if I can, and Vista doesn't cut it

  • In your own opinion. Vista does look nice but don't speak for everyone. The vote -6 means your wrong.

  • well, kde 4 looks like windows vista rip-off, im in your side now, mac os x rules vs kde 4!

  • have u ever open source? you must be stupid.....linux is the most flexible operating system ever created....you can customized the looks far beyond the limitation of Woundows and Fag OSX......

  • This new start menu sucks, I hope that it will be possible to set the old one in final version

  • i think that is just the start menu of suse 11 not of kde 4 it self. i use suse 10.3 and i am able to switch between the kde style menu and the suse 10.3 menu

  • You're wrong

  • I've been looking around these KDE 4.0 vids and would have agreed with you prior to coming across this one. To apokryphos7: Great job demonstrating all those features! Your video gave me a great sense of why so many people are so excited about KDE 4.0. While I plan on sticking with Gnome as my primary window manager for the time being, it's great to see these all these fantastic developments in opensource software.
