In their primes, if they were to play 1 on 1, Jordan would win no doubt. If the 48 year old Jordan played the 26 year old Lebron, depending on the rules of the pickup game, Lebron would probably win. Michael Jordan was voted the greatest athlete of the 20th century for a reason.

One additional note, Jordan looked up to players like Julius Erving AKA Dr. J. and Magic Johnson, Oscar Robinson, Larry Bird, George Gervin AKA "The Ice Man" who invented the finger roll that the young guys still can't do it like he did. So, every player leaves a legacy when they are great. And that doesn't mean we have to compare who's the best just respect the game. Fyi, I left a great deal of names off of my short list of greats, no disrespect intended. I was just making a point.

If you were too young to remember Jordan when he played in the NBA, you probably would think LeBron is a better player than Kobe or Jordan. Honestly, Jordan has done things in this game that no one will probably ever do again. That's how great he was. LeBron is the future of the NBA and I am sure people will be saying the same about him when he retires. But, Jordan and his student, Kobe are in a league of their own.

This is just a video game, but also it's about leading a team to rings, not winning on 1v1 lol. I put the rookie MJ on the crappy Timberwolves while I was a different team in my dynasty. The rookie MJ brought Minnesota to the 2nd round of the playoffs lol.

@MrSecr3ts yeah actually can deny it. His fundamental skills are fairly poor. The strength he has is power, which will leave him sooner than he thinks as he approaches and reaches the thirties. Also do you really think that LeBron will be around long enough to break all of jordan's records. For example, do you think he has it in him to win 10 more scoring titles? I doubt he will be around for 10 more seasons.

@MrSecr3ts MJ dominated in a defensive era where hip checking was allowed and there was no 3 second defensive rule. In other words, the defensive systems were much tougher back then. If MJ was in today's league he would average 40ppg EASILY. I like LBJ but to compare him or ANYONE to him (yes including Kobe) or even say they he will shatter every record?? C'mon... MJ took a hiatus because the NBA was no longer challenge for him...
