@queenvbananaswirl15 a regular tongue piercing will swell for about a week or two, during that time you'll have a heck of a lisp and you'll have problems eating. After about a week the swelling should go down and you can speak normally again. Hope that helps. =)

However, due to constant practice you will hardly hear a difference to your normal speech beginning from the second day on. After two weeks, when the swelling is gone and the piercing has healed so far and after you changed the initial piercing barbell for a shorter one, the piercing will not affect your speech at all.

@LilPwanda yea they used the same bar as the verticle one when they pierced it but once it healed i put a curved bar in. (which i explained in my update videos) i got the curved bar from the first time i had it pierced!

i thought about this piercing, but the clicking is the balls knocking on your teeth. Absolutly TERRIBLE for them over time, the metal can crack the enamel. decided to go the conventional route :)

@lindsaybabe11 Once it healed the first time i had no problems with it what so ever and because the bar i used the first time was much smaller it didnt hit my teeth as much as this one. i plan to change the bar out soon as soon as it heals enough actually but yes i do believe plastic balls are better but they can easily break because of all the pressure from your teeth biting down on it.
