what history books do you read dude? it was probably around 20,000 persians that died, herodotus also states, but is possibly wrong that around 4000 defending allies dies which is a bit high, there were around 7/8000 allies there guarding a tiny pass, if it wasn't for betrayal they would've held but the battle wasn't even decisive, it was won by the allied navy...pick up a book before quoting armchair history mate :)
