  • So fucking smart! first you "pretend" to make medicine for migraine, so you have acces to everything you need to make some LSD, SMART man!! Thank you und danke!! =P

  • Yeah, so when you see things melting on LSD, don't listen to the propaganda, the stuff really IS melting.

    lol

  • genius

  • hofmann knew how to live and die without any pain.

  • SPANISH SUBTITULES?

  • @Markkos89 Learn English.

  • @Barbiehoe I understand english very well but some friends doesnt. thanks anyway

  • they should have subed the toothless dude though.. "I shooulbst gein hurdile shroberushbrs!"

  • @jeffrey42088 a shame about the bong, but it does show that it can be quite a potent psychedelic.

  • @jeffrey42088 not all of them are tryptamines, take salvia divinorum wich is quite a unique psychedelic.

  • is Hofmann still alive?

  • DMT...blows LSD out the water.

  • @IKILLGEORGEBUSH 30mins or 12 hrs, I'd take the acid

  • @danceman94 after taking DMT, some people have much better and different almost DMT like trips when on an LSD trip. so if you ask me i'll take both.

  • @IKILLGEORGEBUSH DMT Aint a drug , DMT shows us the truth

  • @spiderpigsayzrawr DMT is indeed not a drug, it's a chemical found in the body and by definition it can not be called a "drug". even though it's classed as a drug in most of not all countries it's actually not.

  • @nelishoofd Alcohol is also produced by the body.

  • @Nomiss9 Alcohol is produce IN the body by yeast cells from the carbohydrates in your food, so technically alcohol is indigenous to the body but the origin is still external (as in outside of our own cells). Also the alcohol is merely a byproduct. It does not serve and is not produced to serve a purpose in the human body unlike DMT wich does serve purpose in the human body. I hope this clears it up, cheers.

  • @nelishoofd We've evolved with it always present in our bodies though. Still doesn't automatically mean it's somehow healthy to trip on ayahuasca and stuff, I mean, why aren't we both tripping naturally right now on the DMT in our brains?

  • @Nomiss9 The reason why we aren't tripping right now is because it would not be helpfull to us, we do trip on DMT when we go to sleep when we don't have to counsiously function.

  • @Nomiss9 with exercise you can naturally trip on dmt. google the third eye and th spirituality behind it and youll understand wut i mean.

  • I love LSD, why can't I find It anywhere now a days? I would kill for a vile.

  • anybody know where this was filmed? there are some very beautiful scene-scapes

  • LSD rocks 8)

  • This documentary was shown on the Independent Film Channel or IFC for those familiar with it, I 1st saw it quite a few years ago (4 or 5 years) and was in awe that these psychedelic pioneers were not only scientists but had become elderly and still maintained immaculate physical and mental health. These men are warriors. Just as Prometheus, they brought us light and enlightenment that will never extinguish.

  • the stuff is risky and it might not be what you wanted it to. try mushrooms first.

  • 1200mcg or bust!

  • hofmann is the best scientist in the world!

  • How do you "accidently ingest" ??? mmhmm oh well, Hofmann you the MAN lol

  • @ImRunningazoo Accidently ingesting LSD, as was the case with Dr Hofmann, by way of handling and spilling a small amount of the lsd solution onto his hand and through a tear in his protective gloves and unbeknown of the effects.......he started to trip balls. This guy was riding his bicycle around the alps, naked, as the day he was born, tripp'n blissfully off his nut. Dr Albert Hofmann, I salute you!! :p)

  • i actually prfer mushrooms over lsd. because to me the mushrooms are natures freebie.. with no synthetic that lsd has. thats not saying lsd isnt good though.

  • what's that beautiful cello piece at the intro?

  • @MCcookiebreath Bach Cello Suite I part 2 Alamande I believe

  • u get to expirience childhood, and who u really are as a person.

  • It's not a potion. It's a wonderful, mind-opening drug.

    Only someone ignorant would disagree.

  • last friday I took it , damm boy I never loved mother earth so much... thanks albert

  • this is what CANADIAN LSD RESEARCH WAS REALLY ABOUT, never mind this Hoffman propoganda. the doctors in the video only show 1 side of the story. now, watch the following and get the REAL THING: /watch?v=idybBPDIt4g

  • isn't it interesting to note that these PUBLIC documentries only tell ONE SIDE OF THE STORY. What about MK ULTRA? no mention of THAT in this video. No mention of the TORTURE AND MIND PROGRAMMING that was occuring (tied to the CIA). No mention of who FUNDED THESE PROJECTS (eugenicists) and who THOSE CRIMINALS WERE. These criminals always had propoganda such as this video. No mention of TAVISTOCK and the creation of the "hippy" movement either, how very very interesting.

  • @pamaspamas Enough already. Man just enough. Why do we need to show that in this doc. Why would they want to do so. That was the US and Canadian governments using LSD for wrong reasons. This is to show how wonderful LSD is and could be.

  • LSD do not get my recommendation, be careful!

  • i my self am smart enugh to be an atheist..but fk Mr.Hofmann is a GOD!

  • LSD is to stong to be legal. Back in the 80s a sheet cost 50. I bought doses for a dollar 20 years ago. Legalise mushrooms and be safe. LSD sends people to mental hospitals. I knew a few acid casualties who are bad company. Acid so cheap you have to watch your drink at parties. Acid so cheap they add it to xtc for extra high. Anyone else got good stories?

  • @bluemountaindrivepae The reason them people have been in Mental Hospitals is they took to much and they couldn't handle it. It's true if you take to much at one time your fucked but thats like any drug. You can't die from it but you can become a basket case. It's 10 a hit these days and Mushrooms (the chemical grown ones) can be just as bad. Especially when you have only done the natural ones and eat an entire bag of the little ones. But think of this The US GOVERNMENT used it on experiments.

  • @bluemountaindrivepae Both LSD and Shrooms work on the same receptor. Their effects tend to be pretty similar. I don't think mushrooms last as long though.

  • @compwiz00 they are very similar but imo LSD gives a different type of trip much better to mushrooms.. only problem is lsd is impossible to get while mushrooms are easy to get

  • @bluemountaindrivepae i have tried but and the high LSD gives is so much better and wow i wish i could have more LSD... ive taken 100's of tabs but not enough

  • yes you can live an unforgetable trip but only if you know how to use it and how to get a grip on yourself

it takes time to discover what I call "the Science" of LSD

  • rip

  • @Peddrovalium

what is fake? This was an actual documentary.

  • @Peddrovalium what?

  • @Peddrovalium fake ? do you know this guy on the interweiw discovered LSD ? dumb fuck...

  • WOW! Thanks for the upload!!! Amazing documentary

  • Is it really possible to have psychedelic experiences without taking drugs ?????

  • @JudasPriestMKV

Nothing of sobriety compares to a psychedelic experience until after you experience sobriety after a psychedelic experience.

  • @JudasPriestMKV its called music

  • @JudasPriestMKV Absolutely. I have tripped many times on many different psychedelics, and I have learned how to recreate the experience without the use of chemicals. People have been altering their states of consciousness through thought for decades. I induce my own psychedelic experiences every time I listen to Bassnectar for example. Look him up. Also look up Holotropic breathing.

  • pure LSD is quite better substance than psylocybine, and far better than bindweed seeds. i mean its safier to use, anyway, in my opinion.

  • What is amazing about LSD is that it is not a drug per se it is a catalyst. It simply facilitates processes already going on all the time to an extreme degree. After the 1960's a potential problem with street LSD is that it is adulterated with contaminants and this caused many of the bad effects. It needs to be produced by labs like Sandoz so that dosage and purity is to the highest (no pun intended) standard.

  • i'm 15 and i've taken lots and lots of shrooms yet i'm not really into them

my cousin is getting 2 hits of lucy this weekend should i try it now or later on in my life

  • @BobMarleyLurks itss all up to you man if you feel ready...do it...if there is a "but" or a "what if" dont do it...theres no hurry just wait till u feel ready

  • He's in his 90's when this came out. My gawd.

  • I experimented with LSD three times during my teenaged years. It was the best thing to happen to me.

  • @XxBowieTipxX I also had the most amazing ,beautiful experience on LSD.

i was 17 and it was a school bon fire event at night. It ended up feeling like woodstock to me with absolutely no hassles, beautiful music, great conversation and a deep understanding of the world and my purpose on earth.

impossible to describe but it was done with a sense of understanding and togetherness. I saw the world in a different wasy that day and have never been the same since.

  • Its fuking frustating when u try and explain this blissful experience to people close to you who in turn end up terming u as a druggie or a junkie..

If only i could let them see what i/we saw!

    LOL :-)

  • Did he always live in Switzerland?

  • RIP hoffman

  • He didnt by accident ingest lsd, but he had it on his finger, and it penetrated his skin.

  • albert du bist der beste

  • rEAD PLANTS OF THE GODS.

  • who playes the first 2 songs? please tell me! :X THANKS!

  • "a plain chair was invested with a chairiness no chair had ever for me before" aaaah, the recognition of the transcendent beauty of all things. If only that could last after you came down

  • Wonderful documentary. Most of the scientists interviewed have died since. It's very moving to see and hear again the people who were there at the begining of this amazing story, after all those years passed. Thanks for the documentary and for posting it on youtube.

  • Acid is very difficult... people they are not good with herself...

don´t use by people they not stable

don´t use by people they are would be cool...!

  • switzerland was not fucking neutral

  • That's the reason why I love youtube

    T R.I.P

  • LSD is a very wonderful drug if u ask me ive taken it couple times

  • it really is :] im 15 and ive taken it 3 times and its just the best in my oppinion

  • True. However the trip sometimes is too long.

  • @EmaDaCuz the length is one of the longest for psychadelics as well as substances in generall but its not usually as unbearable as somthing like peyote cactus, amanita muscaria, or other mushrooms. lots of people would thing psyilocibin mushrooms the best to have your first psychadelic experience with but i found lsd to be better than mushrooms despite doing acid first.

  • fLY AGARIC DONT WORK FOR ME.PSILOCILIN PROFOUND.

  • @EmaDaCuz

    or too short ! ;)

  • @Zzamarak

LSD is a very wonderful "liquid"

  • thanks for uploading mate ;]

  • Priceless video! Thanks so much for putting this up. ♥

  • yes , the world as it is. Wonderful.

  • Can someone tell me the name of the first song please??

  • hahaha, im going to answer myself.. the first songs name is : bach cello suite 1 iv. sarabande

    beautiful song friends.. BEAUTIFUL...

  • LSD was the most amazing substance i have ever ingested, and if taken properly can help the human race understand each other and understand our conciouness. RIP Albert Hofmann

  • i think it should be legalized more than weed should be, it opens your mind to every possible aspect ever practically. people need to at least try it and be changed

  • totally agree

  • good words bro.

  • how do you know it wanst real, you dont, there fore you saw things that were in your present consiousness. our eyes can only reflect so much light there fore we can only see certain things, when your pupils dialate it lets us reflect more light allowing us to see more while our conciousness is expanded. do not take basic reality for granted

  • if u have tried the lsd u will know, what i saw i know it wasn't real of,thats how u should understand the influence of the drug,u should know whats real and waht the illusion,i know its seems like it was,i saw Pharaohs, they were real walking infront of me

  • so i don know

  • ,i ran scared to the car my friend try to tell me its from my imagination and i told hom NO IT WAS REAL then i tried to under stand thats its illusion, but if u dont and u say its real, then u will be insaine talking about thing that doesn't exist and people will think that u r crazy,

  • it really depends on your environment. best to trip in the woods. don't ask why. i don't make the rules. but it makes perfect sense while you are there. there is "bad" acid out there and it is difficult to find the right stuff. i found my favorite dose through traveling hippies. i see the world in a total new light. the world can really be a wonderful place and lsd helped me find the happiness i was looking for. i've had a terrible trip before but the good trip i had later made up for it BY FAR

  • you are absoultly right man, like most of my trip was inthe woods, its make me see the world rally different i feel like im free ,even on xtc or if u smoke but with the lsd,its was so amazing thing, its really makes me happy,i found my happiness there .its true

  • actually when you read teh story of his first take, he said he thought his neighbour was a witch, this clearly shows that LSD can emulate a psychotic state....

  • lol if you have some mental disorders previously to using LSD then yes.

  • true.

  • @kaltenbach16

    He ingested a huge dose.

Enough to render 50,000 people temporarily insane.

  • I haven't tried LSD yet but I will be sure to experience it when I'm in university.

  • he lived to 102 years old, if anyone tells you that lsd is bad for ur health, kick them in the face

  • lsd is derived from a fungus called ergot.

just as penicillin was derived from mold.

LSA a similar compound is found any alot of natural entheogens.

  • LSD doesn't affect your body.

    It just affect ur brain...

  • your body feels diffirent when your on it tho..dry mouth, clench jaw, dead dick! lol

  • True.

  • obviously you havent done it, or havent really experienced acid.

acid is more of a spiritual trip than just feeling good. id rate lsd above sexual orgasm

  • Thanks for Posting!!!

Might want to check out Lorenzo's

    Psychedelic Salon Podcast

  • thankx Grand Father Albert !:-)

  • Thanks HolyChaozZ, this is kind of the way I have been thinking about psychedelics, and I was questioning to myself whether this is true, or if I was just frying super hard.... RIP Albert Hofmann
