@gorilla199 F-102 and F-106 come to mind (delta wing (ie: triangular shaped aircraft)) as does the Mirage and Saab aircraft. The reason for the triangular shape of the F-117 has to do with radar cross section (RCS) which is about the same as a marble. The shape carries throughout the plane's structure including gear doors & panels to deflect radar. Radar Absorbing Material accounts for much of the stealth effect. I admire your love of Christ but the time of the prophets (except 2) is past.

This is a classical problem with researching conspiracy's. After deep enough under going research, you will stop being critical and stop searching for real evidence. Instead you look for similarities in anything that can be incorporated with what you already convinced your brain with. Its not good information and it´s certainly doesn't prove anything important. Another thing I suggest you do ( because you will either have a heck of alot of fun with it adding it to your theories or it will bedevil you trying to ) is researching the Lockheed XST Have Blue. It is the prototype ( not to be confused with Senior Trend ), of which only two were built and flown, that were used as proof of concept for the F-117 basics. It has many similarities BUT also many striking differences. They were also only 60% the size of the F-117. I think you will enjoy the research.

The ONLY way to make stealth aircraft the 1980's / 70's way with the cockpit almost "blended" into the wing structure so it "dissapears" and attains what YOU suggested is to INCREASE the wing camber enough to sink the entire cockpit as far into the wing as possible. That can only be done by increasing the entire wing size..including the wing span. Hence the creation of the B-2 and it's concept which also used basic principals garnered from the YB-35 and XB-49.

@gorilla199 Infact..Look at either the X-45 or X-47 UCAVs..both unmanned stealth combat prototypes. Remove all systems for the pilot..and you have the very narrow front on, symeterical concept to which you are hinting at EXCEPT the neccessary air intake. The other big difference is that stealth tech has come so far that in a lot of cases, the angular shapes are now minimized due to advances in materials.

So let me try it from a different angle..YES, they could have built it with a matching shallow angle V top as well..That would make it a flying wing. The problem;..on an aircraft as small as the F-117 ( it is roughly the size of the F-15 ) that would leave no room for the cockpit ALONE. An ejection seat and all the instrumentation takes up a huge amount of VERTICAL space. Continuing in further reply.

Sorry..It has nothing to do with pyramids. It has to do with angles and RAM ( Radar Absorbant Materials )..which by the way they ( the F-117 ) are now retired. Ben Rich had to design it with a huge amount of calculations to get the correct mathematical angles that would deflect the RADAR, not absorbed by the RAM, away from the RADAR source.
Also, the intakes are covered by screens..which the spacing is seen by RADAR as solid surfaces..deflecting it away from the RADAR source.

The F-117 Nighthawk is actually a fighter, not a bomber. The B-2 Spirit is the bomber. And the reason the F-117 has these pyramid shapes is so the microwaves from radar reflect off it at 90 degree angles, and they don't go back to the radar antennae.

If you had any knowledge of how radar works, you'd understand that it has a hard time picking up hard angles. Making the triangular shape ideal for an AIRCRAFT(not flying devil pyramid) designed for stealth. Couple that with radar absorbent materials and you have an aircraft that's nearly invisible to radar.
