Big screen TV? IPod? I didn't even get a stimulus check last year - I didn't qualify. I didn't make $3000 (one of the requirments). I have applied for jobs at so many places its ridiculous and the best I could get (the only I could get) was a part time sub-teaching job at a daycare. Why not help people like me who will spend it on bills? Because 'they' want the money to be spent on... IPods and big screen TVs.

This stimulus is guaranteed to fail because you can't have a higher percentage in spending & a lower percentage as the stimulus for the economy that is falling hard on a daily basis. I feel that our government should eliminate all federal tax for 12 months to see if that will put the money we need back in this economy. this would increase spending that the U.S badly needs & everyone would see the positive effects immediately.
