i just put the whisper fan in i do not have the nitro switch it seems like it aint doing wut the oem fan did its real quiet and i think that it aint pullin out alot of air 2 me does any 1 have the same problem or is it just the way the fan is has any body had problems with the fans!!!!!

I wish my fans were that quiet. It seems the resulting noise of the fans is entirely dependent on what model of the 360 you replace them on.

My 360 still sounds like a jet engine without playing any games, just a slightly less louder jet engine, but a jet engine nonetheless.

@mechgamer123 only the Talismoon Whisper Legacy comes with the heatsinks and comes with the 4pin adapter. but the original comes with the fans and a 3 pin adapter

Microsoft is going to send a little like message or transmission thing to all Xboxs connected to Xbox Live and if they are modded Xboxs the Xbox itself, will be banned from XBL so you'll have to buy a new Xbox to play XBL. This is supposed to happen in the near future.

Ok, thanks. My modded xbox got live banned during the mass bans anyways, so I bought a new Jasper for online and just use my modded xbox once in awhile for offline with these fans in it.

I had them in my new jasper briefly but I found they were actually slightly louder then the new standard fans

hardware upgrades such as the exhaulst fan will never get you ban. The mods are to help the system cool better and add life to the machine.

These fans are abit louder than stock but you sure know that its doing its job while running and they look great. :P

I've had this fan for months now, not a single problem, definitely quieter than the stock and the blow a lot more air, also feels cooler to the touch. I don't see how it could possibly give you an RROD

If your GPU or CPU were failing or started to fail, you can't really attribute that to the fan

The fan works and it's completely safe, I've used it in 2 consoles, 1 failed due to GPU+laser was dying, the other is 3 years old and still running with no xclamp fix, no pot tweaks, nothing.

of course ot wont mate. you only get banned if you modify the console so that it plays copied games. you wont get banned for fan mods, controller mods, case mods etc..

most likely it's in a enclosed space tho, or has a carpet of dust on the heat sinks, open it up, clean it out then replace the fans if you must but just make sure to leave the xbox in an open ventilated space. I have the fan, works great for me, before I had a Nyko intercooler, absolute garbage.

I bought mine from Ebay, just $20 + free shipping. I dunno of any place that sells the new talismoon with the "turbo" button.. that's the one I wanted originally.

im using the whisper max and when i fitted them in my consloe they seemed louder than the original aswell. then i put the standard black in after a while and they seemed so quiet compared to the whisper max but the whisper max look much much better
