It's called the "Ai-Rider" and it's a hexa-copter built right there in Taiwan. The remote-controlled aerial photography vehicle is said to be entirely developed in Taiwan and made with domestic components. It can carry a payload, such as a video camera, of up to 400g and can climb to an altitude of 550m. It was filming the fireworks.

The only thing I could put this down to is a remote control flying object but it responds in a way the fireworks is a threat ti it as it flies off and away by changing direction. But the object appears in most of the videos downloaded by innocent subscribers only interested in the firework display. The object is not fake due to this very fact.

I have looked at loads of uploads of Taiwan Taipei fireworks and they all show this orb.

UFO SIGHTING 12:00 MIDNIGHT, JAN 1, 2012 - MY EYE-WITNESS ACCOUNT:
Just heard about some ORBS hovering around a fireworks displays in Teipei having come back inside from watching people ring in the New Year lighting fireworks in the Portland/Vancouver area.
My Mom and I witnessed 5 strange glowing orange ufo/orbs slowly, silently skimming the skies for about 10 minutes, each object making right-angle turns, slowing, stopping, then vanishing into thin air one-by-one as abruptly as they appeared!
