  • why its not blowing up lol

  • @OzemMezo because its not water, water conducts electricity, oil doesn't. also, why use vegetable oil? it'll go bad, use mineral oil or baby oil

  • should have used mineral oil, i think vegetable oil will eat away the rubber one the capacitors

  • Power supply can be submerged as well.

  • ulje iz metroa

  • @SuperTechmech Aro : ) biljno 100% ulje , zašto jednostavnije nekoristi destiliranu vodu nekžim majke mi

  • @TheBrbljo jer destilirana voda može zbog jednog komadića prašine postati ionizirana i provoditi struju, a onda će bit sranja

  • Some friends and I overclocked an old Celeron to something like 4GHz in glycirin, no fans or stirrers or anything. PC died eventually I guess because the gates didn't like the frequency or maybe the moisture but it never got warm :). It was also massively overvolted. This shit works :)

  • I would NEVER EVER do this to my new pc (i7 930, GTX 460 1GB)

  • man, think of all the french fries you could have made with that oil.

man, think about all the people said french fries made from said oil could have fed.

you are living the dream baby.

  • LOOKS LIKE PEE :D

  • oil cooled pc+Overclocked cpu+Potato=Pommes Frites :D:D:D:D

  • cool stuff thnx for the vid . maybe add an air pump to cool with bubbles ..allthough i geuss that kind of defeats the object hehe great stuff

  • what happens to your fans? LOL

  • Fritöse :D

Cool und danach wenn man genug gespielt hat kann man sich Pommes machen :)

    Ich liebe Pommes!

  • @Batner112 lol^^

  • it looks like... shit :D

  • yeah but you said jizzed, when you jizz semen comes out, not pee

  • doesnt oil get heated fast??

  • @mantheman100 no it heats up kinda slow, and stays warm long.... its not really good cooling for a pc...

  • which demo is the music from?

  • eww u look like u jizzed in ur computer lol

  • @redeljann semen is white...

  • @Euroliite pee isnt white......

  • @Euroliite sperm is white semens clear..

  • @MRDubLove ok my bad... but it isn't yellow thats for sure

  • err, why not use clear oil?

  • That looks heavy.

  • that actually looks kinda gross. lmao

  • ur gross >:o

  • use a SSD drive, has no disk...

  • They didnt have SSD's back in 2007.

  • Where are the moniter and keybord and mouse pluged in at??? I dont se any wires from them...

  • i wouldnt trust having the hdd in the oil, but u can if u want. but i guess its just a personal opinion, to each their own. =)

  • meanwhile, i think its better than air or water cooling !

  • @terorvlad

I'd say as far as shedding heat it's objectively more efficient than both, but at the same time it's not really widespread tech which means you're going to run into problems and issues that you wouldn't with the more common cooling solutions.

I'd love to try this some time, but I wouldn't use expensive components or use it as a main pc as I simply wouldn't trust it enough.

  • no.

  • wil it interupt the hard drive?

  • Yes it will, all moving parts aka HDD, Dvd drive, floppy, have to be placed outside the case. everything else can stay inside.

  • Its like a aecuryty lock, nobody will be abe to lift that thing

  • is that the really expensive oil that like 100 or 200 a gallon.

  • lol no dumbass

  • actually, aro is the cheapest dealer of...well everything, so it probably is the cheapest oil :)))

  • isnt that bad for the cables and the other harware>

  • Not really. Oil is non conductive so it's no different to air.

  • it's not the conductivity factor. The oil does damage the insulators and such.

  • Hahahaaa

  • Now you can fry some drumsticks and cool your pc at the same time!

  • do not use vegetable oil, you must use mineral oil!

  • now thats another ting thats fantastic about oil ^^

  • wow...that shit is heavy

  • Like wtf, how cool! Can you make an tutorial of making that case? I want it too!

  • e' comodo x le patatine fritte

  • atleast now you can assure yourself that the internals wont rust lol

  • Unfortunately, it will. You see, he is filling in VEGETABLE (rapeseed) oil, not machine oil. Machine oil does not contain acids, as opposed to...

The bottle reads "Pflanzenöl" if you want to look that up.

A chap of mine has run such an oil bath computer for a couple of years, and that wasn't enough to destroy the hardware though, and it took it this long for oil to develop some smell.

  • como ase eso wm D:

  • Certainly an interesting idea. I bet it ain't the most practical of things though!

  • looks like you took a piss in it

  • so how is this thing effective?

  • Oil dispenses heat to surface.

  • that vegetable oil is gona go bad in a days

  • Thats why you need to use mineral oil instead or baby oil for you women out there hehe

  • thats kewl in all

    love the idea

what happens if you need to change the video card, hehe, wold be messy.

    still gj

  • Pretty beast

  • i think im gna build one of these, there awwsome!!!
