I'm from North Carolina and I have to say, most of the time I hear this song played very mechanically and without much flair but you've really put a lot of southern flavour into your interpretation of To Arms in Dixie. You're a very talented musician! This is a wonderful version of To Arms in Dixie!

I went to a HS and a College in the early 70's where Dixie was out Fight Song.

I just get Goose Bumps when I hear it and I dont hear it enough. My HS changed it name from Rebels to Wolverines. and its grand tradition Died. Thanks for playing the song so perfectly.

Allen plays DIXIELAND music, and yes this song is for some reason considered "RACIST", WHY I don't know, probably something in the lyrics about picking cotton?? This video was performed on my piano, at my home, and YES I know there is a rebel flag under the piano light, I want to let EVERYONE know, that I am NOT racist, I voted for Obama, I won that flag years ago at a county fair, and have used it to put under things that might scratch, it is NOT a political statement!
