  • Dan Hannan for PM! :)

  • Contrary to UKIP, Hannan are objective, intelligent and well-mannered. As if sitting in a European party coalition with Le Pen was not enough, I would find it disgusting for someone Hannan's intelligence and humility to share party with Monckton.

  • @LucidCatnap

Yeah, the UKIP are ridiculous. I wonder they're the CIA's latest puppet.

  • @vechorik

This is a sceptic attack to create public doubt to delay or prevent action on climate change. If you search “Climate Change” in YouTube and look at video comments, vechorik’s will likely appear. Mr Taylor is not a climate scientists and he has deceived the public by cherry picking data to fit is preconceived claims. If you want to know more about Mr Taylor, go to Google and separately search “James Taylor Deltoid” and “wiki heartland institute” - click on the first results.

  • @vechorik There is nothing wrong with NASA data. It is wrong for Mr Taylor to focus on a tiny subset of data to allow him to distort the real truth of climate change. Google “James Taylor Deltoid” and see for yourself. Mr Taylor works for a right-wing public policy think tank (Heartland Institute). The Heartland Institute worked with Philip Morris to question the science linking cigarette smoke to health risks, and lobby against government reforms. Now their target is climate change.

  • @MrKrisRobbo, I believe in saving the earth. I also believe "climate change" is part of United Nations Agenda 21. Everyone should study Agenda 21 to understand the goals of current politics.

  • For PM, you sir would have a great chance too, this would be enhanced by your eurosceptic views. Please Mr. Hannan, run for conservative party leader.

  • 3/3 John R. Christy has been accused of recanting his position that climate change is neither Anthropogenic nor Catastrophic, but he didn’t. He used two independent data sets, weather balloon and satellite for his findings. (see links in my about me) Later he only stated that there was some anthropogenic impact that could not be predicted 100 years out, but that what we’re doing was good for the plants. watch?v=-WWpH0lmcxA

  • 2/3

Foreign countries price gouge w/ gas prices to $10/gal!.

. watch?v=bgKr480RYc4 Obama's Former Green Jobs Czar and Communist, Van Jones

Admits Left is 'PRETENDING' Need for Regulations in Green Movement

    .

  • 1/3 Obama stop offshore drilling until it was reinstated. Only one permit has been issued since it was reinstated. This could cause a $5 a gallon increase, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute& taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC

  • @LillabetteHane Two problems: 1. "Severed it's connection with anything like that of Shakespeare." I'd bet all the money I have there are more people who have read Shakespeare in America than in the UK. This has to do mostly with America's greater population, but your claim is absurd. 2 "I'd say in the UK, ultimately, people are more individual." What are you TALKING about? The UK has a massively bigger welfare state& lacks the tradition of Jefferson, Paine the bill of rights etc.

  • Green is the new red.

  • Comment removed

  • "We're doing it to show everyone what nice chaps we are and to feel good about ourselves." Haha what a boss.

  • If Man's curatives effects for climate change can only have a "negligible" impact; then Man's causal effects were only negligible as well.

  • common Dan join UKIP allready!

  • Mass Hysteria - YES

    Mental illness - YES

    Religion - NO

    Credibility destroying - YES

  • @LillabetteHane Since we were British until 1776. Isn't Shakespeare also a part of our culture? And by extension are we not, to some degree, also a product of Great Britain? Just ask'n.

  • Well said!

  • If you assume that all of us would piss on our environment, given the chance, then all of us need to have our....... Baliff whack his.

  • I think why the hysteria of AGW has taken hold is due to a confluence of forces. Some of them are a redirection of political energies, some of them the chasing of political power, some of them chasing money & jobs and the others a genuine fear of what man is doing to the globe.

Personally I think we should be a lot more concerned about the health of the oceans and the chemical destruction of land than AWG.

    -

  • That's the correct criticism of the global warming hysteria. Btw, I actaully do understand the science and more importantly the models they use (which suck). The rule seems to be exaggeration in the science and then exaggeration in response. Why? Because primtivism is a powerful political movement that has not really been identified as such.

  • I wish this man was an Ametican.

  • @geargemartin I wish people actually listened to this man and did what he proposes.

  • It's all about control.

Anyone who suggests any calm approach to it is attacked and labelled a nazi, a racist, aniti-poor.

Hopefully the whole thing will be abandoned when the next financial crisis kicks in

  • Hannan for EUSSR president, Farage as VP.

  • @delatroy As Marx said: ( not exact words): "I wouldn't want to be a member of a club that allowed people like me entry." Good old Groucho, a real wit.

  • Not sure if this global warming hysteria is a disease or an religion. You tell me.

  • @elbuggo Both

  • @elbuggo It is a religion.

  • @elbuggo A scam and a cult.

  • This guy is great.

Maybe Kurski, the guy behind him, will learn something from DH's speeches.

  • @krzyyysiek One may only hope. It seems that Mr Kurski most of the time spends talking on his cell phone instead of listening and ... learning.

  • It's the old problem of the Symbolic Solution:

The islanders are worried because the volcano is belching smoke so they 'solve' their problem by rounding up some virgins in the village and throwing over the crater edge.

We saw exactly the same sort of primitive thinking during the foot and mouth crisis in the 90s.

  • Its all about the money. "Green" legislation is a sneaky way to take money from tax payers and tell them to feel good about it. Read articles: "A Nutshell History of Climate-Change Hysteria" ; "The science is settled: US liberals really are the dumbest creatures on the planet" ; "The Hijacking of the American Meteorological Society" ; "Green Policies a Substitute For Anti-Capitalist, Anti-American Ideas" ; "The Great Global Warming Swindle" ; "Is green the new red (communism)?"

  • too good. World in crisis, and they jerk us around like this, waste time, play games.

    so childish.

Wish Hannan could have his way with them.

  • UK I wish you sincerely that this guy becomes your next PM.
