As great as Dire Straits were, I don't think most fans are aware of just how amazing Mark's solo albums are. So much fantastic material there. I saw him live in Berkeley Ca a few years ago and he was brilliant. 2 and half hours of sheer musical domination. I'll never forget the thundering outro to Speedway to Nazareth live. He has a goddam good sounding band too by the way.
