Does anyone know if the video of the spoof on Woodstock is available? The gathering is called "Woodstick" in the song, and it's described -- repeatedly to fade -- at the end, "Three whole days of love and peace and joy." My buddies and I, way back when, used to make up our own parody songs based on that schtick.
Homosexuals are working now to make a world where freedom & acceptance of homosex is a given. Let us renounce our anti-homosexual misgivings and plod forward into a reality which embraces every aspect of homosexuality.
Why at the top of this video there is a message banner that says that 'this video is not available in your country (America, I presume) due to copyright restrictions?' Seems reduntant to me since we can see the video.
omg, you cut video off before the ending. After King Charles burns the message, he has Benny deliver a message back asking to resend the original. Benny starts his trek back but is side tracked by a young buxom gal and that is the end.
I love the Benny Hill show... I have the complete dvd series. I laugh everytime i watch it... No one could never take his place.. R.I.P. Benny Hill...
Benny Hill considered better than Monty Python by 2 TV stations (WOR and WLVI TV Channel 56 in Cambridge, Ma)--I agree! The great bio The Benny Hill Story (by John Smith) shows this--bio is for sale at amazon!
Running over 400 miles, beating horses, knocking out guards with a huge log using only one hand, tricking a gay soldier, riding an old lady (having his ass increase in size exponentialy) and having time to get laid. Yes, Benny Hill played true heroes.
Oh, also, when my car broke down the last time, I conveniently found and old lady to ride to the garage. She was panting at the end, but I gave her a lump of sugar ...
OMG I love this one! My grandmother would forbid me to watch Benny Hill. I would sneak into the living room when she was asleep and watch this genius!
LMFAO!! I love it when he gets Bob Todd to come over and Toddy is dressed like a woman! Priceless Benny Hill there. This is very early in the Thames years around 1970 I think.

Congratulations to every unfucked shit-eater cow, you killed the world's greatest comedian. I hope so somedbody will piss your graves. You can clap to yourselves.
I haven't seen this one in a few years, but doesn't the sketch end with King Charles writing a message back asking what the message was, then Benny just gives up and leaves?

calm down (I know it's only you who gets a notice of this reply, it's not directed personally at ya). You two fight over a tiny thing as a title. Enjoy the fun and laugh together.
Sigh, there's no one like Benny Hill. Wonderful memories of the 80's. Damn, those Chase scenes are the best. I laugh so hard when I hear the chase theme!
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do, tomorrow will be the best day of your life
Does anyone know the composer of the music playing during the white flag? I've never heard it before, or since seeing his show in syndication in the eighties.
If you're referring to the harpsichord solo, it was called "Doublet and Hose" by Paul Lewis, from a De Wolfe music library LP called "History Book of Music." It was played in quite a few other silent sketches on "TBHS" between 1969 and 1980. Indeed, Lewis wrote all the stock music (all from that same album) heard in this sketch, except for "Greensleeves" at the opening.
