This is a great feature for hearing impaired people... You should caption your video so that they can learn about it. I wanted to send this to a deaf friend of mine, but realized that he would not be able to understand the video because it's not captioned.

Forgive my ignorance... but why would hearing impaired people be getting voice mails in the first place?

I am hearing impaired but can still hear a bit, though prefer to use captioning and e-mails. There are MILLIONS like me. Also for older people who can't hear well. Being hearing impaired does not always mean we are totally deaf. Hope this clears this up for you. And yes, the Google Voice is indeed wonderful and gives people like me HOPE!

Because hearing-impaired does not necessarily equal deaf, and even deaf people could have a friend or partner transcribe or sign voicemails for them. Do you actually assume that all callers will be aware of the hearing impairment of the person they call and that they know how to handle it? Only on Planet Zorg!

Yes, but think of those voicemails from your other girlfriend/mistress you want to listen to but cant cuz your wife/girlfriend is in the room. You can secretly read instead of listen. Thanks google for making my Jigolo life much better. LoL
