@pyk420biatch PBA was a prestigious bowling organization that had 30-35 tournaments on tour per year. Today, it is down to about 7 tournaments and it resembles more of a wrestling match with antics, stupid things, rappers, and small trophies. You cannot make a living with 7 tour tournaments and some limited fields (the WSOB is one tournament). This is why there is basically no more PBA and these elite bowlers that you see here have to travel away from USA to bowl in good tournaments.

@IveGotYourChange Down to 7? I count 15 in the US alone. And the number dropped because the prize money has raised by a huge amount! Hence the 1/4 million dollar tournament! They are traveling around the world to try to spread the sport! Why do they have a tournament wth rappers and basketbal players and such??? To gain new audience members and fans! @pyk420biatch There are 8 total "tour" tournaments. The WSOB is ONE tournament with small prizes in between. Those little tournaments inside the WSOB are not FULL tournaments. It is like winning a bracket or a division or a mini-high roller. The PBA had 30-35 tour stops before. Even the regionals are failing. I saw one FINAL with a prominent tour player and there were "6" people watching. When he won he said "thanks all 6 of you for staying".

I count the viper open, the chameleon open, scorpion open, shark open,Pba World championship,Carmen Salvino Classic,Elite players championship, Mark Roth- Marsall Holman, cheetah open,US bowling congress masters, ricart ford open, US open, Detroit open, Dick Webber playoffs, and the tournament of champions. That is way more than 8, you can count them if you would like!

@pyk420biatch Part 2 - Some regionals are not even getting 20-30 full pro entries thus having to allow a number of inexperienced league bowlers as guests averaging 130-16 on shark patterns because they do not know how to play them - not your basic 240 league average. And yes - using rapper thugs like Lil Wayne with a police record a mile long is NOT the fucking way to promote the once-classic PBA. NOT ONE FUCKING WAY!!! @pyk420biatch 20 Years ago, PBA players were the best with the small exception of Paeng Nepomuceno, Michael Sassen, Mats Karlsson, Tore Torgersen, a young Mika Koivuniemi, Takeo Sakai, Peter Knopp, and a few others. Today the international player is as good or better than most PBA players. They are starting to come here and dominate and they are dominating elsewhere. The European tournaments are getting better and better and are world formats. Most touring PBA players are now international.

They do not travel or nothing. WSOB is ONE tournament.

Look on youtube and you will see where he is bowling the most - INTERNATIONALLY - so is Parker, Norm, Brian Voss, Chris Barnes, Tim Mack, Mike Fagan, and on and on and on and on - they have tons of plane tickets!!!
