Guess what led me here? I lapped Tsukuba in ARTA NSX in 53 seconds in GT5. Impossible I thought, GT5 must be beautifying Japanese race cars. So here I am, and my respect for Super GT has just doubled.

@racer180sx i guess asians driver better than people of united states...most of them come from street racing in montain...tsuchiya is one of them...unlike Nascar..you only need to turn left and push the gas

Tsuchiya...the true master. He's driven almost everything and has always been amazing. There may well be other masters but Tsuchiya is way on top. He's Legendary...period. On the day I die, I will think of his pure talent and genius with respect to racing. He's beautiful.
could someone tell me how do racers survive the noise ? i mean....at the SuperGT i could hear the cars miles away....and the racers are right inside the car....its not something U can hold juz because U wan to...yr ears can't take it !

In F1 their helmets are provided with specially made radio to communicate with the pitcrew and their Race strategist. and Some Race helmets are made to absorb the Intense Sound of the engine. correct me if im wrong.
no, i think Naoki Hattori get a 48s lap (sth like that) with a 90's Formula Nippon. It appeared at a super battle in best motoring back in 1997 or 1998

Does not matter how much extra power and balance you have in a car, but to go from 53 to 51 is a feat in itself being the top end of times around Tsukuba

formula nippon is a different class race car than the nsx. tsuchiya holds the lap record for that class car.

the car was an evo. the old one was black, the newer one was a red one.
gt cars r built for the track, and that evo u saw was spesifically built 2 beat the tskuba lap record and did, but lost to this nsx.

Thats was on full slicks?
HKS ct230 did 53.8 with semi slicks, (i think yokohama ao48).
If nsx wear full slicks thats enought to cut 2 seconds and more.
