I watched it and thought it was funny, but it didn't have the same meaning or impact as the first one. I rarely like sequels and believe that Pixar does a good job with them, especially with the Toy Story trilogy, however the first one was about finding yourself and realizing what is more important in life and that's the people you love. This one, while entertaining, went away from the message and maybe it was because Doc wasn't in it. Still, good movie over all.

The critics are holding this to high to the other movies. Pixar tried something different with Cars 2. I personally think it worked. Keep up the good work pixar.

I don't know why the age matters in these replies, but I simply love the fact that this film aims at not only children, but adults as well and I can heartedly agree that this film is amazing! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie like Cars 2. It's a thrilling, fun and surprisingly complex Bond-inspired tale that even beats the crap out of the three latest Bond-flicks. Cars 2 took me back to my childhood and I applaude Lasseter and gang for this bold move to make a sequel!
