@totalrod2 I just found this... if you look up 'Perrey & Kingsley - Strangers in the Night' video here on youtube there is a recording by this pioneering synth-pop duo from 1967 which has some of the noises White Noise 'sampled' (using tapes) for this song! Might be the first time someone sampled from someone else's song?
