They may have played differently for contrast, but I definitely liked the females part better. Ann Marie Calhoun plays a jazz style and gypsy style very passionately. It had so many good dynamic points and excellent expression.

I found Samvel's playing more staccato and speed related, but it didn't do as much for me musically as Ann Marie.

This was taken from the Yanni concert 2006. This is a realy bad copy of it. And that Conductor was trying to act just like Yanni did in that concert. Yanni concert 2006 was one of the best concerts i've ever seen in my whole life. That concert was Yanni's best Works ever. You cannot compare this to Yanni's anyhow.

Either way, I'd say that this Samvel guy is pretty darn good, and you've chosen to take someone else's side because you like that other guy's style better. It's more about personal preference, in thise case because, as I said, the musician in this video is already pretty talented.
