  • I feel bad that I love this song

  • The should be the campaign song for Ron Paul or the Laurel and Hardy theme "The Cuckoo Song".

  • Alot of you below act as though most Nazis saw themselves as murderers rather than innocents forced into the protection of their families by a few Arschlöchern. By the way, this song isn't the "Nazi party's book burning song". It's just an old German song.

  • ahhh the last crusade

  • I know it has an unfortunate association... but this music is really catchy!

  • @MagicEmperor yeah sad but true i mean i feel guity for likeing it sadly :(

  • Lets burn Audacity of hope, Dreams from my father, and what the heck an Inconvienent truth...burning books is ok if they are full of nothing but lies

  • @shawnzi24 your right lol

  • This song has nothing to do with the nazi party and was written in the 19th century u fuckin moron

  • @12Oc7ock This song has a lot of association with the Nazi part though. Main association for folks is from Indiana Jones, thus the title, as that is how people are searching for the song.

  • @PezunaProducciones Obviously if ur replying to my 3 week old comment, you dont want me to stfu, because if you did, u would completly disregard it and go on with your life.

  • This song always makes me so happy, just like the Germans who rose from the ashes, after their defeat in ww1. From starving to being a great empire, and back to starving, in such a short time span. Even hitler said that the most powerful thing on earth was German will-power. (I'm only part German, so don't call me a racist. My skin isn't even white, it's kinda tan/olive)

  • @adriandagangster Who cares? STFU

  • 4 people didn't get Adolf's autograph.

  • LOL nazi book burning march

    nice try bro

  • At 0:31 is the Hohenfriedberger Marsch!

  • Glorious!

  • They should've played this at the Dixie Chicks CD burnings back in 2003

  • My primary school French teacher taught us the months of the year to this song.

  • i love it :)

  • "Nazis... I hate these guys"

  • Who said the song isn't used today???

It is, and it's a great march song.

It was not the "Nazi's" who used the song it was the Wehrmacht.

  • hey watch it scifi75 , they made it better, good music to burn books by

  • i can totally see something like this playing in disneyland lol

  • It's kind of catchy. To bad it's a Nazi song.

  • @dustinengel1 its really not its a prussian song

  • It's a good marching song. Too bad the Nazi's ruined it.

  • As someone whos family suffered by the Nazis durring WW2. I dispise them. But they could write kick ass march music!

  • Is the Pastor in Florida planning to play this on saturday??

  • i hate nazis

  • indiana jones

  • how much is hitlers hand signature worth these days hmm?

  • Listnen to the sweet sound of this song, then think of what it celebrates: Hitler's obsession with keeping people stupid. G'head, burn the books! The burning of books kept the German people ignorant. Once they read, they would have destroyed this evil empire.

  • Whoever wrote book burning march is a fucking idiot

  • the nazis were horriable people for what they did but also brilliant in all their war technology updating planes tanks and so forth!

  • @navyseallllll Yes. The world would indeed be worse off without those.

  • The United States Of America is Far worse than the Nazi's. If they cut a business deal with them, the American's wouldn't have gone to war with them. And thats the only reason, why America entered into WW2.

  • @Randomthingz1 Try again. Nazis were not the ones who brought America into the war. Japan did by attacking Pearl Harbor and we had very little or no buisness dealings with them. Germany declared war on America based on the agreement of the Tripartite Pact. While it is true we had dealings with the Nazis, cutting a deal isn't going to prevent a war. Hitler had plans to deal with America when England and the Soviet Union were defeated.

  • the nazis are a bastards but the music is very cool!

  • indiana jones !!

  • The 3rd reich tainted a lot of Germany....not spared was this and other marching songs, as well as the Iron Cross. (The Iron Cross was first created by Friedrich Wilheim in I believe it was 1813)

Hitler put a swastika on the iron cross in 1939...thats like pissing on your national flag.

  • do you know if iron crosses are still given today

  • the Iron Cross design is still used as the symbol of the german army, but the "traditional" iron cross medal has been replaced by a similar medal designed around the iron cross. It's called the "honor cross" or something to that effect if I remember correctly.

  • Honor cross is actually maltese cross

  • thank you for the clarification

  • @XuliusCaesar Pissing? Well that depends from which view one sees it.

  • I guess...if you believe in nazi ideologies then maybe you might like the idea of a swastika on a symbol of your national pride. I personally think its disgusting but thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • i no nazi but this music sounds bretty cool has a good beat to it lol

  • *facepalm*

What is it with people attacking god-damn music pieces with a goddamn violation of Godwin's Law?

The Königgrätzer is a wee bit older than the 3rd Reich.

  • lol When was it exactly? I have saw it was before WWII, but was it back when Germany was first declared a country or around WWI?

  • The march was composed after the Battle of Königgrätz. That was 1866.

  • Sweet, I much appreciate the info.

  • where did you get that?

  • Yea this isnt a nazi book burning march, this was written in 1866 after the battle of Koniggraetz.

  • Still same song idiot

  • I rather burn those stupid expensive useless women cosmetics.

  • Stuck in my head! Now I'm going to burn all my books! No, not Narnia!

  • LOL

  • But yet my biggest regret about WWII..... That hitler didn't blitzkrieg Canada to hell!!!!......... Fuck canada! lol Oh settel down kanok im kidding.

  • Sieg Heil Mein Führer! God bless the Third Reich!

  • Dude your a dick. As if we arn't haunted enough by the Reich there are assholes like you runing around. I had many of family that lst their lives fighting for that reich. My grand father was SS and even he dosn't think that shit should have EVER happend!

  • I hope your talking about naspad's comment, not about mine. i am german and i just had to say "idiot", because naspad glorified the thrid reich.

-just wondering about the negative votes for my comment...-

  • this music was not always used by the Nazi's in fact it was around long before them.

  • great music!!!

  • this was hitler's favorite march. ironically, in the battle of königgrätz the prussians defeated the austrians and threw them out of germany.

  • Actually it was ONE of his favorites

  • Thanks for posting.

  • call of duty world at war the reichstags mission

  • what i mean to say is that they should march to this on inaugration day

  • perhaps obama should play this video considering how he wants to negotiate with the jew killers

  • tahnks, to your information: like 99% of today germans havent got ANY acenstors that were nazis in the ww2.

  • Actually the march dates back to the Battle of Königgrätz in 1866. In which the Kingdom of Prussia defeated the Austrian Empire.

This is a bit earlier than any Nazi movement in Germany. It sad that some people judge without knowing.

  • Oh I see well that's good! :D

  • Great info... Thanks!

Good to still se people on YouTube who reply with information! =)

  • "It sad that some people judge without knowing. "

    Could'nt be more True

  • @skytreker So it's ok to like this song then ^_^

  • @one5643

    Absolutely =)

  • @skytreker But this is the Nazi edited version of the Königgrätzer march, not the original. :P

  • @skytreker I think because part of this was used in the third Indiana Jones movie during the book burning ceremony, people assume it was composed by the Nazis. Some people think that the "Deutschland Uber Alles" song was about a desire to conquer the world (that line was actually an appeal for unity of German speakers)

  • @skytreker People see only what they want to see...

  • Der Königgrätzer marsch is a old song, the one the nazis used when burning books is a slightly modified version, its not the version featured in the video.

  • Why does this comment have down thumbs?

  • @PS3Oilerfan83 Cause you're a oilers fan.

  • is it? at which part? I just copleted the game and I dont remeber hearing this.

  • It's in multiplayer match victory for the Wehrmacht side.

  • It's also in Call of Duty: World at War.

  • I remember that version. It was used in a movie once.

  • Yeah, it was Indiana Jones last Crusade during the book burning scene.
