  • I think I'd like to have the Scarecrow be my psychiatrist.

  • I dont know why he has a scythe in the pic. He wields a sickle in the comics and only rarely then

  • Haha.... Dr. Murphy.... Cillian Murphy..... The Scarecrow in the Nolan movies....

  • @sharppaw22 And Dr Combs... Jeffery Combs... The Scarecrow in the animated series :)

  • his voice in these tapes and his voice in his hallucinogenic dreams he gives to batman is so different....but thats what makes him even more amazing

  • @spiderguy369

I think you mean "scared of being alone" not "scared of being a 'n00b' ".

  • Most good criminals are intelegent. Most good terrorist believe they are right...and everyone else is evil.

  • Threatened? Humiliated ? Scared? OHHHH BURRRRN

  • Comment removed

  • Scarecrow and The Riddler are definitely my favorite villains, not just in Batman, but in the entire villain realm! Their ability to outsmart those around them just make them amazing.

  • Crane is truly creepy. The scariest villain, in my opinion. What's worse than a psychologist who screws around with your mind? (i.e. Hannibal Lecter)

  • why do we masterbate then lol

  • @CodZoMbiesFanaTic452 The fear of feeling un-stimulated? lol

  • @CodZoMbiesFanaTic452 Fear of being unloved? Who knows, you don't do it if you have a girlfriend.

  • You know I noticed in the games how everyone is like really buff. Lol everybody has a six pack. Made me laugh a little

  • Batman at the end!!!!

  • @spiderguy369 this is scaring me shitless i was thinking about that just the day before watching this for the first time...brrr creepy

  • scary that theres truth behind cranes argument

  • Almost all villians of Batman are somekind SO SMART. reither than be an overpowered muscle beings.

    I love that!

  • @NataliaNeeSama Bane's both

  • @DktorChoas I said "Almost" XD

  • @NataliaNeeSama Yeah, even Bane is a chemical genius.

  • Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Jonathan Crane. Seems ALL Batman's enemies were doctors.

Seems Gotham could solve all it's problems by finding out whatever university these chumps are graduating from and closing it down!

  • 3:51 that man is getting raped by his father 0_o

  • why is it always joker at last and not the person there intewivieng

  • @applefacemoron I haven't played the game yet, but I think that's one of the many scenes they play when you die in the game. Maybe the guy just likes joker and put him at the end lol. Hope that helps!

  • @MrPhenomenal7 No it's the villain your fighting at the time

  • @striderprime1 I know that. lol He asked why it was the Joker every time instead of the villain being interviewed.

  • @spiderguy369 Sounds too rational to me. :) But ya, one of the reasons I love Batman is all the questions about how people are and how they act and why they act. I don't really agree with any of the characters perspectives, but I do know people who do and I know that there are people who live according to those views.

  • Is it just me or does his voice sound like an old lady?

  • @spiderguy369 He is pretty right, and it's a lot more basic than that. Two things drive the animal that is man: fear and lust, both tie into self-preservation and continuing one's genetic heritage. All of those fears all tie into the idea of "I am not going to spread my genetic seed if this happens".

But, the justification for his actions sort of tapers off when he drives his point home with gas that instantly gives you the worst acid trip in existence.

  • @spiderguy369 its not really fear though thats driving a person, people fear consequence much much more than they fear failure, Crane is overly cynical.

  • Scarecrow is awesome because he has the best motive for being evil in my opinion

  • @spiderguy369 To go on from you, we eat because we are scared of dieing of starvation, we use the bathroom because we are scared of peeing our pants, we play video games because we are scared of being bored, and women use birth control pills because they are afraid of having a baby. and the list goes on and on.

  • that's why this game is awesome...the characters really flesh out and the villains are not just the "MUAHAHAHA I'M EVIL AND I'LL KILL YOU BATMAN" type...the developers actually make them have psychological motives...big props to them for that

  • @spiderguy369 true

  • everything he said definently made even better sense than the Riddler's interviews.

p.s. yep... he's right about fear ruling our lives...it all makes perfect sense...

  • @92snowbunny92 Fear is an aspect of decision. Not it's sole ruler.

  • @brainiac554 eh but ya know what i mean...although...o.0...

  • @92snowbunny92 The Riddler is insane. Most of the things he says don't make sense.

  • @Kass1964 yep...Scarecrow makes more sense than Riddler! Scarecrow > Riddler!

though i always understand what Rid's tryin' to say... 0.o

  • @92snowbunny92 He does, but I love the Riddler. He's just so crazy and he doesn't think he is. It's fun.

You understand it, but it doesn't make sense. He's himself is a riddle.... if that makes sense. XD

  • Man, Arkham has to pay WELL to keep people working there. Even then, I don't think it'd be worth it.

  • @TheAcriNom Let's face, we'd probably all join the Joker's ranks. Or Two-Faces. Or Penguins. Or Scarecrows....

Well I would. Seems like some fun.

  • Crane sounds like Freeza

  • "Fear drives everything"

    Funny thing is: he's right.

  • Can a screw Scarecrow's voice? @.@

  • The scariest part? He makes sense...

  • what was that with the joker at the end?

  • Comment removed

  • the doctor interviewing Crane sometimes sounds like Mr. Feeze

  • dr.jonthan crane aka the scarecrow was raised by his granmother she would lock him in the attic and sick her trained crows on him. when he develped his fear gas she became his test subject resulting with her dying of a heart attack through the fear

  • @spiderguy369 make friends = don't be a noob. What the batfuck?

  • @Curseco

Well, I think asshole would be a better term.

  • "Please daddy, dont do it!" lmao

  • scarecrow is right our lives are governed by fear hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • batman ripped crane at the end XD

  • Eh yea a "doctor" interviewing a nother doctor....thats pretty much a stalemate...or am I the only one who remembers who scarecrow is lol

  • "How does that make you feel...threatened, humiliated, scared?" Wow. Batman{Kevin Conroy} sounded great/intimidating....wonderful interview tape.

  • Scarecrow sounds like the female phsyciatrist or at least a woman.

  • You know you're a crappy phsyciatrist when you're patient can analyze you better than you can analyze them.

  • @TheRickrollerhater Jonathan Crane is also a psychologist...and obviously a better (albeit sick) one. *lol*

  • @TheRickrollerhater Hey, it's Jonathan "Motherfucking" Crane. It's like getting in a dick-slinging contest with Ron Jeremy.

  • @TheRickrollerhater even Batman was able to analyze him better

  • @TheRickrollerhater more importantly, what's a phsyciatrist"?

  • @TheRickrollerhater doesn't count, the patient is a psychiatrist!

  • batman ya good job how come it did not show that on the game

  • Qhy's it sound like I'm talking to Freeza?

  • This is one of the few tapes with Batman actually on it.

  • After all the shit that Sacrecrow puts you through, am I the only one who thinks he meets a very anti-climactic end at Killer Croc?

  • @tiakpark I one of the endings you see that scarecrow survived

  • @Badjokemaker One of the endings? How many are there?

  • @tiakpark I think there's three. Ones scare crow, ones croc and I think there was a third but I can't remember what it was.

  • @tiakpark There's three endings: ones scarecrow, ones bane and the last is croc.

  • @00Kakkoi00 Oh, I always see Bane's arm reaching up out of the water to grab the Titan. Could it be any of them at that point?

  • @tiakpark Yep

  • "I believe he is quite sane. Just evil."

Um, yeah, that's even worse. While it would rid the universe of a interesting villain, if he's not insane you should just execute him, or is whatever state(s) Gotham is set in always against the death penalty.

  • lol... you dont interview the scarecrows.... he interview you...

  • @gharbii only in soviet russia

  • He sounds like frieza from dragon ball z.

  • Scarecrow sounds so sexy. I don't know how he does it. But there's something about Scarecrow makes him interesting.......very interesting. Makes me wonder what kind of things he could do to me. *giggles* ;)

I'm a definate fangirl now. And I thought Two-Face is sexy.

  • @OneTailedTerror1 What he could do to you? He would probably make you face your deepest fears and traumas to the point that your mind will break and you would be left totally insane ... just sayin'

  • @Defilerlord I meant what he could do to me sexually. But that may add some more fun. ;)

  • @OneTailedTerror1 I know, but I couldn't resist being a smartass :D

  • @Defilerlord lol!

  • @MRPHENOMENALTV Are you sure?

  • batman fears nothing

  • Dammit, Cash!

  • "Note to self: as ever it is difficult to continue my research under such conditions"

No idea why I like that line. Maybe it's the way he said it.

  • @tubegirl4000 A normal man. In Batman Begins and the Dark Knight (cameo) he is portrayed by Cillian Murphy.

  • What dose he look like with out the mask?

  • gosh i luv scarecrow his story is so sad :(

  • who're the people who're threatening crane at the end?

  • I love that character

  • This guy is well...... unique

  • Scarecrow is afraid of batman because he reminds him of the people who bullied him as a youth, and subsequently prompted scarecrow to advance his research in fear psychology :) awesome character

  • This is why supervillains keep escaping from Arkham. What the hell kind of asylum lets its inmates have cologne, or in fact _any_ personal effects? IDIOTS!

  • The first Scarecrow Interview Tape features the names "Dr. Murphy" and "Dr. Combs." This could very well be a reference to Cillian Murphy, the actor who played Scarecrow in Batman Begins and Jeffrey Combs who played the character in The New Batman Advetnures.

  • @doctorseaweed2 Damn, You should be teaching School. :)

  • This is the same voice actor who does Professor Putricide in WoW, I'm sure of it.

  • I looked this up just hear Scarecrow's extremely sexy voice!! Just listen to it! How can you not love it! <3

I LOVE the picture as well. I desperately want it as my background. O.O

  • @jonnavdpas if you want the bio image google search 'chuckdee deviantART concept art' and click on the right link for this. the bio image for scarecrow and early character designs are all there :3

  • @NerdyOwl299

Found it! Thank you VERY much! <3

  • @jonnavdpas you iz welcome ;3 i hav harley's early character designs as my screensaver for ma phone

  • @NerdyOwl299

    That is damn sexy! 8-D

I am so totally gonna use that Scarecrow picture to scare my family. xD

  • Your life is governed by fear.

  • scarecrow stages in this game are mind-numbingly awesome

  • It took me a while to realize that the first tape was Scarecrow talking!

  • @Ceag840 Ditto

  • @Ceag840 I did that too xD I was like 'wait wait wait, Scarecrow isnlt married' xD

  • I love how Scarecrow got owned in the end.

  • you have to think with all the batman villains and stuff we would just gather them all up and say a big FU to them but he is awesome all the same.

  • This man is nuts! i never want to him in Gothum

Though he is cool in a creepy pychopathic way

  • This guy is no man, he's a devil in man's clothing

  • Comment removed

  • Why doesn't Gotham have a prison instead of throwing everyone in the asylum? Or maybe capital punishment I mean wow. There's no such thing as guilty you just are labeled insane. It's no wonder Gotham is all f@#!ed up.

  • @GelidKing It does have a prison. Everyone in Arkham are actually criminals who are considered insane. It just so happens a majority of Batman's villains could pretty much be considered mentally insane. The ones who aren't are sent to Blackgate.

  • @arngrim12 Not to mention every other politician, police officer, and public official in Gotham is corrupted beyond all reason, not counting a handful of characters. Also, when Batman flashes back to the night his parents were murdered and he met Gordon for the first time, Gordon states that there's just something about the city that brings out the worst in people. Make of THAT what you will.

  • he is the best and he is still a respected doctor to me......he stays so calm:)

  • In my opinion, villains who are obsessed(spelling ftw) with a particular emotion are the best ones, mostly because they throw in their philosophy when the cause havoc.

  • @clickingpinging Ivy much?

  • @ukp13 I though Ivy is some sort of a psycho-matuted-green peace member.

  • @clickingpinging not really, ivy also represents many emotions. particularly temptation. but also represents the element of nature. sure she is a little bit insane but arent they all?

  • If Johnathon Crane AKA the Scarecrow isn't insane then he should be transferred to Blackgate penetantery

  • @ToyStoryAddict527 Before becoming the Scarecrow he worked at Arkham Asylum, Arkham Asylum is known for being run by crooked people, they want one of their own on the inside. That's one opinion.

  • "What ARE you afraid of...?"

God I just adore his voice.

So calm and yet with quite an intimidating undertone.

  • damn pwned

  • Never understood why Scarecrow never got attracted to study Joker's madness...

It's fun to see that he acts totally professional and mad-like,both at the same time.

  • @migcosta17 Might have something to do with the Joker beating the crap out of him with a chair.

  • @BriannaNLC Ouch... Didn't see THAT part...

Yeah, I'd`prefer leavin' my bosse's madness how it is after that ....

  • @migcosta17 Yeah, it happened in the comics; I'd leave him alone after that too. Scarecrow's still my favorite.

  • was that batman talking at the end?

  • Sounds like Freiza.

  • i want to see the fear gas on the joker

  • @crazychri1

    Me too! =D

I've always wondered what Joker would see then...

  • in my opinion scarcrow is the best villain

  • Jonathan Crane sounds very attractive. Why wouldn't a girl flirt with him before? He seems so.....amazing :D

    I'm already a Scarecrow fangirl. :D

  • @SegaLizard you and me both

  • @SegaLizard YAY, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!!! 8D

  • @SegaLizard He's certainly awesome, but... Well, there is the fact he's the second most evil and psychotic villain in Gotham city XD but, that's fan girls for you lol

  • @SegaLizard Scarecrow is awesome. Apparently in his back story somewhere (I read it on a Batman wiki page), he drove two people to suicide with words alone. And that voice..it fits perfectly.

  • @LadyRuin2012 I know I read that and i was like ''wooooow.''

  • @SegaLizard Then we shall watch out so you don't become a scarecrow version of Harley Quinn, which between you and me, would be totally awesome.

  • @SegaLizard That's almost as scary as his fear gas...

  • @CBN0 Muahahahahaha >:3

  • @SegaLizard Have u been infected by his gas?

  • @genjutsugaara Hehehe Maaaybe X)

  • scarecrows voice sounds like a transvestite. i thought he would sound scary, with a deep voice.

  • I wonder what scarecrows fears are....

    ;)

  • @ChelseaHerself

    bats, unfortunately

  • @ChelseaHerself if i was scarcrow and he didnt get affected by the gas probably batman

  • @ChelseaHerself he fears only Batman.

  • @ChelseaHerself

    Bats.

  • @ChelseaHerself Nowadays, it's Batman.

  • @ChelseaHerself His fear is bats. That fear after he's been around his gases so long soon evolves into only a fear of Batman. Says so in the comics/animated series.

  • @ChelseaHerself fangirls. And lots more fangirls

  • @ChelseaHerself The joker in a thong.

  • @doctorseaweed2

    *snicker snicker* X'D

That would even scare the Batman! He wouldn't show it that moment, but he would have horrible nightmares later! I'm sure of that! XD

Ooooh goooood! *No! Don't think about iiit! *shrudders*

    WHY!? Why!??

    My brain!!

  • @doctorseaweed2 The joker in a thong was also a line in the game said by the joker

  • @ChelseaHerself

    umm...batman.

  • @ChelseaHerself Ironically, he's afraid of bats.

  • @ChelseaHerself

Read Scarecrow Year One and you'll find out.

  • bats lol

  • @ChelseaHerself He's afraid of bats, and especially Batman.

  • @ChelseaHerself Crows.....

  • My second fav villain.

Though he sounds like a woman XD

  • i have a crush on scarecrow i think its his voice
