I've known Luke and the Abbate since I was 5 years old. My brother grew up with Luke. I go to Harrison High where the 5 tradition is still carried on. This crash was such a tragedy to their family, & our community. I can't wait to see the movie, and I hope it truly shows what an amazing family the abbates are, and the amazing person Luke was. 5 HIGH.
They are doing the car crash scene in my neighborhood, it's gonna be a good movie. A great story, really sad, but it's good his brother is gonna be honored like that. Go DEACS!
Wow I live next to some of the abbate's close friends and my parents went to wake.Its amazing on how the tradition expanded. Their also making a movie about john and luke.
I was in the movie this weekend...it's called THE FIFTH QUARTER. We did the hospital scenes in the old High Point Presbyterian Hospital.The family was there also. Such a great story!!
My brother was friends with Luke, known him since he was a kid. It breaks my heart all whenever I think about it. He was an amazing guy and my heart goes out to his family. RIP LUKE
