i don't know wat to do am i suppose to multiply 14 by the tax and then add the answer by 14 or cross multiply evn though i don't know how to organize the numbers to cross multiply them......?
@weird471 you were supposed to turn the percent to a decimal by carrying the percent two spaces to the left gives you .55 you set up preportions and multiply diagnaly and you would get the awnser

@weird471 this is what you do 14.00 times 5.5 to find the tax which is .7 then add it to 14.00
