  • Dear Santa...

  • zombie knife approved

  • I'm in love

  • They should another 17.5 inch blade version of this so it can be an actual machete

  • I Was lookign into SOG knives until i noticed nearly all their knives are made either in China, Taiwan, or Assembled in the U.S. They only have 2 models Made in the U.S. so I automatically took SOG knives off my list, and went and bought a Gerber LMF.

Advice when buying knives: Never buy a Knife from China if you're planning to depend your life on it in an emergency situation. It will Fail you.

  • is this legal in massachuestts (non-city)

  • how much is it and were can buy it

  • ooh yeah and is it legal in texas

  • Dear santa

  • Made in china means the production its cheaper because of the handwork, therefore you have an economic blade. It doesnt mean its crap, quality and materials are a brand issue, not of the geographical place where the workshop is.

  • the back is for notching

  • How many knives do you have? did you buy every knife you reveiw?

  • @KIngAragorn100 Because of the Knives Town website I have access to these knives as inventory. Click the link under the vid and check out the store.

  • @wwwknivestowncom oh so you didn't buy all of them

  • Well, as long as it does what it was made for, I like it.

Even if it is made in China. But personally, I don't know the first thing about knives. I want to know the strengths and weakness. What do you think?

  • dig the blade... not the handle...

  • ha. china.....

  • Is the plain part of the blade sharp out of box ?

  • @TacticalHadoken Yes, it is sharp.

  • the knife is a beast i own one all i can say is the saw is not for wood its more for flesh and the handle your not going to be braking any windows in the woods , its meant to take down a mother fu**er

  • i took this knife to school to show my friends... I can no longer go on school property

  • @Ajbadboy252 Sorry to hear it. School is definitely not the place for this blade as you discovered. But don't let this setback stop your schooling. Go to another one or home school or GED or something. Continue pressing forward with ambition, knowing that your hard work will pay off and this bump in the road cannot stop you. See yourself doing something great, then work toward it and make it happen. :)

  • @Ajbadboy252 dude u are kinda sad didnt u know that been prohibited for like years many years

  • @iiSamples no shit sherlock didn't think i'd get caught obviously

  • @Ajbadboy252 its huge and ur showing people how could u think u wouldn't get caught

  • @Ajbadboy252 well of course if your going to bring a 15inch survival knife to school your asking for trouble. your lucky you weren't arrested.

  • @Ajbadboy252 Something similar happened to me, except I brought an unloaded .357 magnum with the firing pin taken out.

  • thats not a knife that a sword :D

  • its so light and DEADY!!!!!!!!! awesome

  • i would love to use that in the bush

  • That is one VICIOUS looking blade. >:O

  • That was a close one. I almost flagged this video for porn.lol

  • @unscmaverick Seriously. Not everything "Made in China" is constructed in a sheet-metal shack with old ladies sweating with no air conditioning rushing through products.lol

  • I just got this knife..and am about to go into the field for a month on the 18th of this month. Can't wait to see how it works out there..

  • @LocalHitman but totally worth every cent. the back serrade is pointless, and i sharpened it myself so that its razor sharp, but it does the job.

  • the teeth on the back are for making notches in wood for traps n such, if you kind just hack at it you get nice little notches

  • @LocalHitman i have this thing. its a freakin monster. i thought it was gunna be bad cuz it was so cheap, but its great. the 1 thing i dont like is when im chopping wood (yes, its as affective as a hatchet) the handle can become very painful to grip.

  • beautiful... if only they made one with a better steel :(

  • @andresayz4545 They do, I have the higher quality one :)

  • @ThatHaloGuy117 WHERE CAN I GET ONE!!!!!

  • i Bought this knife as an addition to my Survival kit ( as my main knife ) based upon your review.

  • i have this! :D

  • How can he resist swinging it around while laughing like a maniac? :p

  • @Pclarsen004 Who says I do resist.....

  • it's so cool the way you say "litature."

  • I want it!

  • mine says jungle primitive on the blade though

  • i think i ordered this and a tomahawk as well

  • This knife should be in black ops!

  • @6chichiman a simaler one is

  • whats the price???

  • Great zombie knife:-) tumbs up!

  • i have one of these knives, and i use it for everything, the serrations are awesome and although it doesnt hold a good edge, if you swing this thing, you dont need it really sharp, it cuts fairly well. Ive cut through 4" diameter trees with one well placed hard swing.

Its to date my favorite knife

  • ohh yeah RAMBO TIME!!

  • Who on earth would put this on a lanyard???

  • This knife is meant for hard usage such as in camping, survival or to go through heavy bush. Therefore, I don't mind if the blade is made in China and I want it to be inexpensive but not so much that is worthless. If you want a more expensive option with a higher quality blade, then fork out more money and buy a Ka-Bar, Hawke's or Kershaw knife. The price and quality of this knife is sufficient for its use. In my case, I have it stashed in my SUV in case I need to do some heavy cutting.

  • @varolachner Well said, thank you.

  • Well, it looks vicious. Not sure how useful it is besides maybe killing snakes and swamp vines... or scaring the wife and kids. The turn-off for me is the word "China" stamped on it. With blades, China made = cheaply made.

  • that aint not knife ! its a mini sword !

  • BIG LIKE

  • In the US this knife is cheap. Where I live it is expensive. Buying this knife online, including shipping costs is still cheaper than just buying it where I live, but it still costs a bit.

Problem is, this knife is not very good. It gets 1 out of 5 stars at KnifeTests. Also, I have a Ka-Bar Heavy Bowie, which gets 4 stars out of five at KnifeTests.

So, I already have the better knife (better by far) and still I want this one because it LOOKS AWSOME COOL! What should I do. :(

  • @MrSatanica

Don't buy knives for looks. Buy them to use, and if this one isn't quality, don't buy it.

  • @Dutchling88 Yeah, well that IS the reason I have not bought it. But Nutnfancy uses a term called "fondling blade" - a knife you are very very unlikely to actually use, and most likely just will... yeah, exactly.. fondle. Perverted as it may sound, I understand exactly what he means. I'd buy this blade and just hang it on the wall and sometimes just hold it and pretent I am hunting aliens or something. :) I'd never use it for real. I have my Ka-Bar for that. :)

  • @MrSatanica If you aren't going to use it, why pay $40 for it? I guess I can't really say much because I have a small collection of swords, helmets, and a shield, but I would save the money.

  • @TheUSMC2017 Yeah, well, that is exactly it. I just want it for fun.I live in the city, I hardly need a survival knife at all, but I have a good one nevertheless, should something happen that puts me in a situation where I need one. This knife I like simply because of its cool looks. Nutnfancy calls it "the second type of cool", and uses the term "fondling blade". This would be one for movie evenings when you watch aliens or predators. :) Just to hold and fondle and pretend you are tough. :)

  • i have the jeep badlands and its the same knife just with a wood handle

  • Now thats a knoife

  • Hay i dont wana sound like a COD black ops fanboy but that knife looks like the SOG knife used in the game.

  • thats not a knife !! this is knife !!!

  • @thejuaxo . . . your comments are so unbelievable. first of all who carries this on the AT? I frequently hike the AT and if you are there hike you don't carry a beast like this because you don't need it to slash and hack. secondly the AT is like the super highway of the hiking world. how do you get lost on it? You don't even need maps. Seriously.

  • ok let me first say that i am a huge survivorman fan. I actually got lost off of the appalachain trail and i had the jungle primitive knife, bottled water, and a flint with me.

As soon as I was lost I was in survival mode.

This knife is, in my opinion, the greatest bushman's knife i have ever seen! This thing is like an axe, machete, combat knife, and saw mixed into one. I ended up spending the night in the wilderness and this thing never left my side. The next morning I found where i was.

  • i liked this knife until i saw china on the blade

  • Just got my fusion jungle primitive knife great knife awesome qualitey!!!!!!

  • Lol, yup! Introducing the SOG Fusion Spear :)

  • grip is bad! I had to use hockey tap.. grip is to small/narrow buy a Kabar Kukri

  • dear santa!!! =D

  • im scared of this thing

  • Amazing knife or should i say sword... Mine came razor sharp right out of the box, i love the feel of this knife and all of it's capabilities... good knife review

  • nice review.

  • "It's a fun knife!"

  • i came here form black ops >.>

  • @Wallsoo <.<

  • That is a sweet knife for the woods.

  • SPARTANS! TONIGHT! WE DINE, IN HELL!

  • i never really say this about knives, and stuff like that... but that is one SEXY FREAKIN KNIFE!!

  • I got this, it is OK. You need to sharpen it out of the box. Use it as a tool, not something special. It will NOT last more than 5 years I reckon, but for the price it's worth it.

  • SPARTAAAAA!!! :P

  • Anybody that believes that a decent survival knife can be made of Chinese 420 stainless steel is "Primitive". I finally found something worse than the Bear Grylls survival knife. I dare you to do a baton demonstration with this in cold temps. Make sure your wearing a face shield if you do baton with it.

  • That aint a kni- oh, hell, yes it IS!!!

  • thats a baby sword lol

  • I think we just found one of the weapons of mass destruction...

  • dammmmnnn why does it have to be 420c, the edge will ware off like shit.

i wish they could make knives this cool with a good steel

  • 1:17 he said literature like a pro XD

  • not my first choice in steel for what it was designed for but is a very good looking.

  • Very sweet knife.I have one and it's very well used.If your a outdoors man this really is allot of knife for the money.

  • love mine, only thing i dont like is the serated part... its in the way when chopping.

  • hope there pointed

  • My heart sunk at 4:40 when i saw the word "china" on the blade. That means it was made in a sweat shop by 4 year old slave labor. (sick joke lolololol) but seriously. I would rather go with a comparable American made knife.

  • John Rambo would be proud

  • too long, too heavy and good chance it will snag if you have to stick it into something meaty.

  • @Urudrim heavy? i have this knife and when its on my belt i sometimes forget its still on me because its so light!

  • which one this or a kabar

  • the blade looks cheap ill just stick to kabars

  • I have this knife and I love it. it's great for hacking but the backsaw isn't worth much. It's more for the look because you won't be able to saw deeper than half the width of the blade so pretty useless saw but overall very badass knife

  • wow that is so cool

  • did anyone elses mouth water?

  • @SharkGod1 yes,,,,,,yes it did actually.

  • @SharkGod1 hell yeah

  • @SharkGod1 because of the 420 steel?

  • lol take a moment to take it in

  • "Now thats a Knoif" -Crocodile Dundee

  • It's A Mean Looking Knife But When It Comes Down To It My Srk Or Cold Steel Recon Scout Is A Hundred Times Better!

  • 420 steel...? Hm....

  • hahaha literature, thats a good one

  • is this the same Knife that Sam and Dean Winchester use on supernatural?? It looks alot like it! trying to find it! help!!

  • i want it baaaaaaaaad

  • along with some...literature...

    epic

  • one of knives I like a lot

  • @akeloteirko

You realize the sawblades are one-way, right? If you have ever used it properly, it actually cuts pretty nicely. I personally don't like the feel of the handle, but it's definitely a nice piece. I've never put it to hard use, but I have heard it's not as heavy-duty as they say in terms of fragility. The SOG Creed's built for heavy work though.

  • sic..!!!

  • i almost bought on of these today, i ended up buying some throwing knives instead, this knife is AWSOME though.

  • @Dj43c i bought one today. where wer u gonna get it i went to the sans point medieval festival and bought the survival one

  • @akeloteirko really the saw looks pretty good

  • A good knife to have in your BoB

  • then it's probably been barely used. by the way i like to go to the store and actually pick it up and go to the counter so my dad can purchase it with my money

  • It is really refreshing to see a knife review not done by a total hick. Well done!

  • its more like a battle knife/bowie/machete/saw thing ;)

  • wish the sheath was MOLLE compatible

  • i have this. its a knife

  • @thedemon51015 is it any good i mean if you strike something with it after a few time will there be wobbalage

  • @intupspaturken This is a very good knife for stricking things its well worthit

  • @thedemon51015 thnx for the reply

  • what kind of camera do you have? it's bitchin!

  • Nice video - glad to hear someone that reviews knives that doesn't sound like a 'hills have eyes' hick :)

  • Very unique knife. There are probably tougher knives out there, but this one offers a lot of value for only $60. If you have money to waste you can spend 100$ extra on a really only slightly better steel grade, but why? even that blade will still not last forever . I have one here and it's perhaps a little heavy to go hiking, but you have a very good grip on it and I actually like the weight while holding it. The saw and serrated part are indeed very sharp. I will keep an eye on SOG from now on.

  • sold me im buying it

  • If that knife came with a kydex sheath I would be all over it.

  • @PatrioticSlaughter the plus of this knife is the price point. it is very cheap, which you get a cheap sheath for. it is still quality for the price point, but for 35-40 dollars more, you could easily get one made for this knife. making it only about 100 dollars spent, which is still a good deal

  • More like machete...

  • This nice is pretty awesome!

  • one of my first choies for world war Z

  • l think the chrome finish looks better.. but that is a bad ass knife..

  • an attempt at combinig a tactical knife with a survival knife... wtf is this thing? I like SOG products, but this is just plain overkill. It's more of a weapon than a tool, more military than outdoorsman, not very good as a camp or outdoor knife, I'll keep using my Cold Steel Bushman in the wild thank you very much.

  • @travnicek 'tini' is an abbreviation for 'titanium nitride' which is the anti-corrosion on the blade, and aside from teflon is one of the best blade coatings you can get on a knife blade.

  • thats a wicked looking knife

  • I got this knife. It is a good buy and holds a sharp edge when sharpened. I Sharpen it with stones then with a leather strop. Well worth the $60.

  • god i want this knife

  • Dude it's incredibly cheap, go buy one.

  • Thanks ALOT man, you cleared up all my questions I had with this knife.

  • just got mine, freaking awesome!!!

  • a sawback knife is just plain stupid. If your sawing with it you run the risk of cutting your self badly in the blade that is facing up

  • spend more of the video talking about then knife then showing it, tell us your opinion

  • thats not a knife, thats a damn sword

  • almost.

  • @ROFLator1 thats not a knife,*pulls out a SOG Fusion Jungle Primitive Knife* now this,is a "knife"

  • @underkiller17 That's not a knife "Pulls out Cold Steel Great Sword" now this is a knife

  • would this be a good survival knife

  • go onto the sog store website? just because its made in china doesnt make it a bad knife, ive had mine for a while and i bushcraft alot and it has yet to fail me and personaly i find it to be better than my ka-bar bull dozier and my next generation ka-bar which are made in ontario usa. so unles you own the knife and have used it dont just say made in china no thanks.

  • sog charges so much for there knife but i hope there not all like this ive watch the review on tortue test and look like is sharp like a razor but not SCARY SHARP i wanna see it cut through bambo cold steel makes good knife.

  • i wanna buy a couple knifes for self defense in case you have 2 use it and a machete also good for around the house

  • Think about it. As a machete sort of knife, this isn't bad. But what would you be doing in a fight with it? You might as well be better off with a pocket knife just because of a pocket knife's inconspicousness.

  • This knife tries to do too much. Why do you need a saw when you have a blade that long? Might as well just chop through whatever you need cut. Those teeth are redundant and end up taking away some real functionality (batoning...) from the knife. Not a fan of partially serrated blades, either, unless it's a little EDC knife. For a bigger knife, however, the serration just takes away from usable space for a real task. So what if you can cut through rope easier. :|

  • @NothingCoherent hey dude, dont know if u still care about this, cause ur comment is 10 months old. but, they make one without the teeth, and without the partial serration. it also doesnt have the tini coating.

  • call that a knoife?

  • Personally I would much rather this knife without saw teeth or serrations. They are useful, don't get me wrong, but I'd prefer to be able to baton the knife and feather wood and such. And if they spent the money they used to grind the serrations and cut out the saw teeth to make it thicker, it would be a better chopper too.

  • Nice review.

Bwahahaha that could do sooo much fucking damage to someone

  • i dont recommend any knife made in china. not if youre really gonna use it

  • hey guys,

what you think? This or a Ka-Bar Full Length Fighter?

Basically, I want something to fight off bears and splint wood for kindling and small pieces of wood.

How about a Tanto, as well; would that satisfy my needs?

    thanks

  • neither one. they are to big for what you need, i assume fighting off bears was a joke so im gonna recommend a survival knife such as gerber survival or tactical. tanto knives look cool but are useless.

  • ka-bar

  • that looks very cool yeeeah

  • as some people say that the saw isnt very good, but think about it, would you rather have the knife with or without the saw? id personally prefer the saw.

  • In that case i can recommend you the Glock M81 Field Knife. That lightweigth, unimpressive little bastard is probably one of the best knives i've ever owned. The saw is good, and after correct sharpening the knife can get you through hell and back. Bad thing about the Glock is, that it is no good for chopping. It's too light.

  • Previous comment was meant for VengeanceIV. Damn replysystem.

  • That looks like a beast of a knife! Another beast would be the ORIGINAL bowie knife!

But i give the review a 4.0 out of 5 just because of how it was presented from the person not the knife itself!

  • I own this knife, its fantastic yea it cant do it all but it is a solid knife.mini machete and feels great if i lost mine id replace it .i use this and a team leader when I hike

  • That is not a very good knife.

Well, yeah, it is an impressive sight and all that, but looks dont make knife.

It's only good for chopping. The saw in the back is bullshit, because the shape causes the blade to stuck into anything thicker than your wrist. It's also too big to make splinters for campfire or something. Only thing you can do with that is to fight off bears, chop entire forests to bits or to show of to your friends.

  • I live in Detroit ,Michigan, the murder capital of the U.S. I find this tool useful for getting from the parking lot to my building.

  • hell yeah! I live in the D too. This knife actually got me out of a situation without any physical contact. I was on Congress and 3rd. Somewhere around there and some guy tried to rob me with a small pocket knife. Hahaha. Not as safe as a gun, but better than nothing.

  • hmmm reminds me of that crocodile dundee scene "thats not a knife, THIS is a knife" bit
