i think that's too much. im just trying to look for one that will come in handy for me when i take the baby out. nothing that fancy, just something really handy
Any working car can get you from point A to point B. But it's nice to get there in a Mercedes...if you have the money to buy it. Same concept. I'm sure there are perfectly good less expensive strollers out there. But if you have the money to get one that has neat features and more bells and whistles (no matter how expensive) and you have the money, then get what you want.
In my opinion it is one of the best 900$ investment I have ever did. Me, My kid and my husband so happy with this Orbit Stroller System. I really recommend buying it
tested the stroller in person and liked a lot of things about it. the two things i did not like was 1. when you move the toddler seat from front to rear facing ther's not enough space for legs. 2. the toddler seat is flimsy and was coming off when moved around in the base. still lokking for a perfect stroller.....
we have the stokke xplory with accessories and it costs $1500 new.. and it's worth every cent. We live in Europe and my stroller is my car, I don't drive and I must be out in all weather. We're very happy with it.
Yeah but the Stokke is just that, a stroller. The Orbit is a COMPLETE system. When I say complete, I mean it's the stroller base, car seat base, rocking base, infant carrier, toddler car seat, toddler stroller seat, and bassinet. The Stokke doesn't even compare, and the Stokke is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. I would rather invest in a COMPLETE system (as I have, we own the Orbit) than put that much in a stroller only like the Stokke. I'd think anyone with common sense would.
I wasn't dissing on the orbit, I was just pointing out that other strollers cost a pretty penny as well and I'm more than happy with ours. I don't think it was very nice of you to say such mean things about the Stokke when I said nothing bad about the Orbit. The orbit was my first choice actually but it's not available here in Europe yet. Perhaps it was confusing since I didn't reply directly to that person, but for some reason youtube would only let me comment in general, not as a reply.
and also, The Stokke is also a complete system. We have the bassinet as well and we used it as a bed when our daughter was a newborn. Also, the Orbit doesn't come with all those things but separately. You don't get the toddler seat, the rocking base, the bassinet, the toddler carseat with it when you buy it.
First and foremost, it's not $1200. The basic system (infant carrier, stroller base, car seat base) is $900. The rocking base is $80. We were gifted the basic system and everything else as baby shower gifts. I love that they now have a toddler seat that can rear face up to 35 pounds. I think it's $300. We got that too, as a gift from my hubby's co-workers.
I sell quite a few strollers everyday, mainly Graco, Evenflo, Maclaren, Combi, Joovy, Babytrend, and a few others.
I had the pleasure of meeting with an Orbit stroller owner a few days ago, and she could not have been happier with it. I was extremely impressed with the modern design, which was both compact and light weight. The over all versatility and quality of the parts was exceptional as well. I hope to see more of these strollers over the upcoming years.
I have a orbit. An will never buy any other type of stroller again. Best thing ever.

Is it made in the U.S.A.??
Unfortunately, too expensive but if it's ALL made in the U.S. I would actually consider it..

My husband and I LOVE our Orbit Baby system! I do wish the sun canopy on the car seat came down a bit more. I love the 360 rotation.

What exactly is $1200 about it? The cupholders?

Dwight tested this out. It is not indestructible. Is this worth 1200 dollars? FALSE

How dare they charge over a thousand dollars for some metal and plastic.
