@sundaisie this would totally work in your hair! Mine is alot thicker and a little longer than hers and I do this all the time, it's pretty much amazing! Just be sure you put some product in there!

This is the first video I've seen that is comparable to my technique! The only difference is that I use Foxy Curls products, love them! My hair dresser will be proud to hear that there is atleast one other person styling appropriately for curly hair! lol

My hair is exactly like this even without products and all the diffusing. The problem with this kind of hair is that it's very curly on the sides and therefore you have more volume on the sides of your face than the top of your head. This causes the triangle problem. Even her hair has the same problem. She's at the salon and the stylist is fixing her hair every few minutes. As soon as she walks off the salon, she'll have the flat top and the curly sides which does not look that pretty after all.

Awww My hair looks like this but it's a bit longer. :) All I do is put mousse and diffuse it. I HIGHLY recommend Tresemme mousse...the one specially for curly hair. IT'S SUPER easy. If your hair is naturally curly it will work just fine.

to get the same look without all of the damage, get your haircut into layers, and use sponge rollers, and use a volumizing mouse, like Finesse, use a little bit of heat just to set the rollers, and air dry naturally you will get the same look without all of the heat damage!

the less you actually touch the hair the better, its less frizzy. if u have to touch it a lot like this guy does i would rub a shine serum over your hands first. your hands will slide thru the hair and it wont catch in your fingers making it frizzy. the shine serum will with lightly on the hair. making it shiny

Easy tip if you don't have time to do this: shower at night, apply products and go to sleep! just keek your hair out of your neck and crumple it on the pillow. Next morning your hair can still be damp, but full of volume!

first of off the bigger the hair the better :)

also when dealing with curly hair it comes down to 3 things.. 1. Haircut, the girls is perfect in this vid, short, lot's of layers. 2. Type of curl, not all curly hair is going to look like this even if you follow it to a T (sorry, but true) 3. Texture of hair

all in all, his technique works well but to many steps.. you can achieve this same look (if you have the right cut/type of hair) with just a diffuser and adding some mousse to soaked hair.

yeah i love my diffuser, i use Garnier curl cream and smoothing milk in my hair when its wet and diffuse it.

It takes me like a half hour cause my hair is very think curly and it is long, to my waist.

But it works.

And its awesome.

I defiantly recommend redken curl spray to finish.

idk what HE used, but i know shine serum and gel work really good together, putting on shine serum first (i use john freida). then finishing with hairspray (optional) xD

The same thing happened to a friend of mine who had really curly hair and she straightened it all the time.  She just styled it curly each day and eventually the curls came back as her hair grew. I don't know if that helps!

hmm, well i have super ccurly hair too, and one thing ive noticed is every time i get it cut it gets even curlier. just make sure you have all the split ends cut off and it will be ALOT curlier. also make sure your getting a product that makes it curly, and not frizzy. ive had a hard time finding good products but i usually use tresemme or sunsilk. good luck! hope i helped :)

Dont straighten it anymore just wait until all your regrowth you straightened grows back then buy some deva curl shampoo conditioner a blow dryer and a difuser.Make sure you also have a shine spray and either a gel or a mousse if you like crinkly hair.Then experiment with the diffuser as shown in this video.Make sure you dont comb or disturb the curl simply place it in the difuser while your head is pointed towards the floor for the front and all the way back for the back potion of your hair
